This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 3rd day of January, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3274], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, N.Y.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

3. There are some improvements. There hasn’t been the complete carrying out of the applications suggested.

4. But for the acute condition in the eye, or those tendencies for - You see, they haven’t set up the drainages, or else we would - In the adjustments to be made, these are not so much corrections as to set up drainages, coordinating the areas especially as indicated where there are the closer connection with the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve impulses; so that the drainages from the lymph as well as from the organic functions are carried off through the eliminating centers - alimentary canal, respiratory system, perspiratory system. These are the channels through which all of these used energies are to be eliminated.

5. As for the conditions in eye - first set up drainages, not so much corrections as drainages, in the manner indicated - then apply Glyco-Thymoline Packs on the side of the head; that is, on the temple and at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervicals. These, with hot salt to hold the heat, should remove these disturbances.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Are the drops now being used helpful? (A) Not especially helpful. These will do, though - but the other conditions are the more necessary.

8. (Q) What will relieve neuritis in upper arm? (A) Setting up drainages! Neuritis is the expression of poisons, finding pressures in the extremities or even in torso at times. Set up drainages through alimentary canal.

9. (Q) What can be done about condition of throat? (A) All of these conditions will clear, if there will be the applications suggested.

10. (Q) Fluctuation in blood pressure? (A) This comes, as indicated, from the colon condition. Do cleanse the colon.

11. We are through with this Reading.

Dear Mr. Cayce,

I am writing for Mrs. [3274] to say she received your recheck reading and she thanks you very much for same there is no change in her eyes as yet but she is hoping. The packs in the back of her neck as you suggested in your reading for neuritis has helped considerably. It has eased the pain greatly and now the pain is very slight. She is very grateful for your advice and she will follow it. She [will] write to you herself when her sight returns. She say’s God bless you for your kindness.

R2. 2/7/44 [3274]‘s ltr. to EC:

Dear Mr. Cayce,

Will try and write altho I cannot see a thing. Thanks for recent letter still no change in my eyesight for ten weeks. Have tried the glyco packs on temple three times a day since you wrote. It has not helped at all, but the packs have helped the neuritis in my arm, but still have pain but not as severe.

Have stopped going to Dr. Coulter. He refused to tell me my blood pressure, said it had come down to 150 - but it has not. Went back to the osteopath I went to last summer, my blood pressure is 230 - am also taking high colonics there as he has the equipment. He is most interested in your work & said he can follow your directions.

I know with your vast experience over long years that you must have had people with my trouble, and any other suggestions you could make to restore my sight would be greatly appreciated.

Won’t you write and let me know soon? You have been so generous since I have known you I know you will help me if you can.

What else can I do to restore my sight?

I have not heard from you in reply to my last letter. Won’t you please write if you have any suggestions as to how to recover my sight? Still no change at all in 3 months. Pain in my arm back again altho I still continue glyco packs as you suggested. It helped though for 6 weeks but not cured.
