Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Md.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes. As we find, conditions are such that there may be a staying of the disturbances, but these activities are of the consuming nature.

3. If there is the desire, there may be used the influences that we might suggest - though these will not heal, or remove causes. For, as has been indicated oft, causes may be karma. Karma is cause oft of hereditary conditions so called. Then indeed does the soul inherit that it has builded in its experience with its fellow man in material relationships.

4. The conditions here may be best retarded by the use at times, about once a week, of a magnet - of sufficient strength to raise a railroad spike, - this being passed over affected areas, see? This will aid in demagnetizing or producing a vibration that will destroy the active forces of the consuming of cells being enlivened by the infection itself.

5. Keep as normal an appetite and actions of the body as possible.

6. These offer the greater help here; not a cure, but a retarder; an easing.

7. Use the sedatives when intense pains arise. Hypnotics are preferable to narcotics.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Is an operation necessary or advisable? (A) More apt to lessen the longevity or length of this life’s span. May be done if it is desired.

10. (Q) What is the cause of my condition and what treatment is recommended? (A) The basic cause is karmic.

R1. GD’s note: We heard nothing further until 4/49 when Mrs. [3313]‘s son-in-law sent in a contribution to the E.C.F. campaign for funds to prepare the readings for general use. He made no report.

B1. 9/16/43 Ltr. from son-in-law: ”…We discussed the health of my mother-in-law, Mrs. [3313] who resides with me at … Since my return Mrs. [3313] has seen her Dr. and mentioned the Green Glass and Ultra Violet treatment brought out in your rdgs. The Dr. told her that it would be just the thing for certain ailments but that he could recommend nothing until he operated and studied some tissue from the affected gland in her throat. Mrs. [3313] is very nervous, emotional, and deathly afraid of an operation. Since I told her that it was possible for you to have an emergency rdg. some time in Oct. she refuses to return to the hospital until then. You can appreciate that the longer her condition goes undiagnosed the less chance she has for recovery.

“For the above reasons I am pleading for this rdg. as soon as you can.”
