GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3336].
-
As we find, there are conditions that prevent the better physical forces. In giving the conditions, as to how they may be best helped, we find that something might be given of the disturbances as a history to be perfectly understood.
-
Here we find there have been accumulations since changes were wrought in the glandular system, where there were the disturbances - from lack of proper eliminations - in the mammary glands, glands of the stomach proper, and those as related to associations with the sensory system. All of these have been clogged, and in some areas they have become of a tuberous or tumorous nature. These as we find were not necessarily within themselves of a malignant nature; but with bruises, and with lack of proper coordination being set up in the eliminating systems, these might easily become such.
-
Those measures for removing some of these have worked a hardship in destroying some tissue, especially as indicated in the lymph circulation. Also there are those conditions where ligaments have been torn, as in the extremities, and where still there are other conditions or accumulations from lack of elimination and coordination. These still exist.
-
The massage that has been indicated is well, provided those influences are added that might aid the body in bringing back the better coordinated vibrations in superficial and deeper circulation, as well as the perspiratory and respiratory system, the kidneys, the liver and the alimentary canal. All of these should coordinate in their eliminations.
-
In the present we would apply to the body the Violet Ray, about a minute and a half, along the spinal column, each side. Not over a minute or minute and a half; not on the bone structure itself, not over the areas of the breast or the frontal portion of the body, or neck, but on either side of the spinal column, along the area of the sympathetic nerve system.
-
After a few minutes rest, have the Fume Bath, followed with a good oil massage. We would have this treatment about twice a week. Don’t just give it two or three times and then quit. Remember, this has been nearly twenty years coming on. Don’t expect to get rid of it in twenty days.
-
Set up better eliminations by the use of those foods that tend to produce better drainages, - such as laxative foods such as figs, a great deal of pie plant whenever obtainable, raisins (stewed and prepared in other foods) a great deal of the black figs and the white or the purple also, and the prunes and prune preparations. All of these would be well for the body.
-
About once every four weeks we would have a good high colonic.
-
In the area of the knee, where ligaments have been torn, use about twice each week this combination: Moisten table salt (preferably iodized salt) with pure apple vinegar; not having too liquid, but that it may be gently massaged into the knee cap, the end of the ligaments. While this will hurt a few times at first, if this is kept up each day for quite a while we will get better results here.
-
Do these and we will bring much better conditions for this body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Can you advise anything to strengthen the remaining teeth I possess? (A) The use of Ipsab here will be well. Massage the gums and rinse the mouth with this, using a good alkaline antiseptic afterwards - such as Lavoris or Glyco-Thymoline.
-
(Q) Give suggestions for hearing? (A) There’s not much to be done here. The gentle massage will relieve these tensions to a great extent, but all of these areas have become so disturbed by poisons that it will take a long time. Don’t get the Violet Ray near the head too much.
-
(Q) Can I do anything more than I do, by massage, to restore the left area of which an osteopath told me the lymph gland was practically destroyed by the x-ray treatments? (A) This has just been given. Do these things and we will find better conditions for the body.

Dear Mr. Cayce
I feel that I may not, in my recent letter to you, have made it sufficiently clear how much I feel it is important for me to have a check-up Reading. I am very slowly regaining strength but am not yet strong enough or completely free enough of the remains of bronchitis to go out in the air or take a treatment at Reillys. I should like to know what a check-up Reading would say to my present condition and what it would advise to hasten my recovery. My masseuse from Reillys who gives me a rub every Sunday, here at my house, says the check-up Readings are customary. Please give me one when you can and let me know the price.
Hoping you have had a beneficial stay in Florida & with all best wishes,
Sincerely, [3336]

R3. 6/1/45 Excerpt used from 3336-1 in WRE:
Received this comment from Mrs. R. M. Fleming, Box 1215, Douglas, Alaska (letter of July 7, 1945).
“I have been receiving your weekly letters regularly and really look forward to them with anticipation. Recently one contained a remedy for sprains. It so happened that I severely sprained my foot this evening while descending the attic stairs. I soaked same for several hours in hot Epsom salts but could not stand on the foot even then. I looked up Cayce’s remedy and applied as directed. It immediately alleviated the pain and I was able to walk about the room without too much discomfort. I shall continue the salt and vinegar treatments as it really brings results.”

B1. 8/21/43 Questions (First Physical):
- Was the swelling in my left breast caused by the blow on it in Dec. or Jan., by running into the face of an open door in the dark?
- How can reoccurrence be avoided?
- Is there anything cancerous about these swellings I have had in the breasts during a period of 34 yrs?
- Were the operation for removal of right breast and X-Ray and radium treatment on the left breast unnecessary?
- Is the condition of torn cartilages in my knees incurable? What treatment would you advise?
- Can you advise anything to strengthen the remaining teeth I possess?
- Can I do anything more than I do, by massage, to restore the left area of which an osteopath told me the lymph gland was practically destroyed by the x-ray treatments?
- Give suggestions for hearing?
