This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 10th day of January, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [3381].
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Jeanette Fitch, Stenos. Harmon Bro.]
Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Ohio.
-
GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time; with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here.
-
As we find, there has been little or nothing done about what has been given the body!
-
The reading itself won’t help. It is the application consistently, persistently, conscientiously, prayerfully that will help the body.
-
If the body will do that as indicated, we will get help.
-
Do THAT.
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/14/44 [3381]‘s letter to EC: “I got your reading today and was disappointed. I had hoped you would answer some of the questions I asked, or give me a little more detail in the reading. As I understand your reading, I am to continue with your first reading. Is this correct? I did not receive a receipt for the $10 I sent you for the second reading. Should I have one or not?
“Thank you very much for your time and trouble for me…”
R2. 1/20/44 EC’s letter to [3381]: “I have yours of the 14th. I believe from the information that is given, you might be a little bit more persistent with the instructions that were given you. Don’t do those things to just get through with them, but enter into them knowing if you are consistent and persistent - you will get results. Work at it with that as a positive fact in your experience.
“As a member we have never felt it necessary to send receipts, but as you ask for it we are sending you one herewith. I do hope that you will follow the suggestions very carefully and be very consistent with them, and I believe you will get results. Thousands of others have. Why shouldn’t you?
“Let us hear from you from time to time and know if we can possibly be of help to you, we are only too glad to do so.”
R3. 7/9/48 Report from [1747] [a practical nurse]: “I used the Glyco-Thymoline Packs and combination of oils for massage as suggested for [3381] for pus in the kidneys on Mrs. […], who had a very severe case of pus in the bladder, in which the bladder was bleeding. She had case history of cancer and has recovered and is doing her own housework again and is feeling fine. She also had varicose veins and wore a rubber stocking that she laid aside and has not worn since. This is a quote from her letter to me: ‘Well, I’m real tired by night but we’re both so pleased at how I am. The lady who wrote to me while you were massaging me has a bad leg and I’m going to see if I can help her, with God’s help and your teachings.’”
