This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of December, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Dr. [3393], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., via husband, Dr. [3394].

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

3. Yes, we have the body here, [3393]. Very lovely person!

4. As we find, there are disturbing conditions that produce a great deal of aggravation to the body forces. These have to do with the glandular system, especially the thyroid and the soft tissue in the nasal passages and sinus, as well as those upsettings that come from these at times to digestion and elimination; producing at times inconveniences or distresses through portions of alimentary canal.

5. As we find, these have been rather of long standing; beginning with a catarrhal disturbance in the soft tissue of face and head, commencing primarily from a disturbance experienced by the body many years ago with the activity of the genital system or the organs of pelvis. These were minor in their beginning, but these as we find gradually changed the circulations. This condition being helped or corrected, with the creation of a catarrhal disturbance through the congested areas, we set up these disturbances through the system.

6. The body then became lacking in sufficient quantities of iodines or potash, or potassium in the body, so that the glands of the thyroid cause disturbance - and have begun to make changes for the superficial circulation as related to the skin, nails, as well as portions of the digestive system.

7. As we find, in making applications here, we would first use a spray of Ichthyol; this diluted, to be sure, so as not to be too strong. Use this as a spray for the nasal passages and for the antrums. Preferably use a DeVilbis spray. This is the better character of spray for this particular condition, unless used with the gases that are sometimes used in such cases - but the hand spray here would be preferable.

8. After this spray has been used for something like a week or ten days, each day, we would then begin taking Atomidine internally three days each week - say Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Take one drop in half a glass of water each morning before breakfast.

9. When the Atomidine has been taken some three to four periods (that is, weeks), begin with osteopathic adjustments; making corrections and stimulations, now, in those areas of the 9th dorsal, the 4th lumbar, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd dorsal, 3rd cervical and, of course, throughout the upper cervicals - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd dorsal, 9th dorsal, 4th lumbar. These should gradually reduce these disturbances.

10. Keep up the Atomidine for at least six weeks in the manner indicated.

11. Keep the spray only when needed.

12. We find that these should bring better conditions for this body.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) What other conditions produce my general weakness? (A) The strain from these and the drainages through the conditions in the body, and the upsetting in the alimentary canal has caused much of this.

The addition of the B-1 complex tablet will be well for the body, not in the beginning but when the corrections osteopathically are being made. Take them especially through the periods when there are sudden changes in the weather.

Do these and we will make better conditions for this body.

Dear Miss Turner,

I am enclosing the two dollars for copies of Dr. [3394] & my readings for which I thank you very much. We took all the recommended treatments suggested but did not leave here as early as we should have. Dr. had a breakdown about 1954, and did not work for three years. Heart auricular fibrillation and I had a slight cerebral accident last February, so we are about the equivalent of one good D.O. together. Both have made a far better recovery than most do under the circumstances.

We had so hoped to get to Virginia Beach during some of our travels but haven’t so far. We have appreciated both the World Within & Many Mansions.

The additional two dollars are for two more copies of One Hundred Questions & Answers, one sent to Mrs. […] at Bingham Nebr. & other one here.
