EC: We have the body here, [340] - this we have had before. Now, while conditions are somewhat bettered from that we have had at some periods, there is a tendency in the colon, in the WHOLE of the intestinal tract, and especially in the colon, for that of CONGESTION, or of the WALLS of the intestines not to function normally; acting more as cold or congested areas, and PRODUCING at times in portions of same very disagreeable conditions as to, in the lower portion of same, the sphincter muscles become so lax, by the inactivity of those portions in the turn in transverse and descending colon, as well as in the upper caecum area, or those of the ascending and transverse, that produce irritations, as to make even for the exhuming or bleeding of those protruding portions. [Hemorrhoids?] These, as we find, will be aided materially, [if] will the body [will] at least twice a day take that exercise of standing with hands high, or circular motion, bringing hands high above the head and carrying them forward, with the body bending toward the floor - forward, see? Do this for two to three minutes, two or three times each day. Also take at least ONCE each day, a tablespoonful of psyllium seed, with FOUR tablespoonsful of very hot water - see? Let ‘em cool, of course, before they are eaten - but this stirred well together. This would preferably be taken in the evening, or WITH the evening meal. This, as we find - with care as to the diet - do not take too much astringents of any kind, nor too much of condiments, not too much of anything that carries too much salt in same.

Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Are enemas well for this body? If so, what should be used? (A) Not too much of these until after there has been a thorough cleansing with the use of the psyllium, see? Then, should there occur SOURNESS of stomach, or a touch of dyspepsia - as is ordinarily known, or regurgitation and belching - take three to five drops of lactated pepsin every four or five hours, then take an enema - especially with a high pressure, carrying considerable amount of salt and soda in warm water - warm soapy water. Then keep up those as has been given. Don’t take the enemas too often!
-
(Q) Should the body leave off the Petrolagar? (A) Not necessarily; but take it opposite from that period when the psyllium is taken.
-
(Q) What causes extreme pain in right foot when stretched in a certain position? (A) The impingement coming from that in the upper portion of the sacrum, or caecum area.
-
(Q) Will the exercises take care of this? (A) More the psyllium will take care of it! But the exercises, of course, will help it!
-
That is all for the present.

We are through with this reading.
