Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Calif. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: We have the body here; this we have had before.
-
As we find, conditions are very much better than we have had them here before. While there are periods when there is a tendency for the return of some of those conditions that have been indicated, through the increasing of the amount of inflammation and congestion in the colon area, these are much bettered than they have been at other times.
-
The general upsetting is rather in the MENTAL than in the physical, in the present.
-
We would use those precautions that have been indicated should be taken by the body; making for sufficient of the physical activities, sufficient of the using of the mental efficiencies of the body in some SPECIFIC and direct manner; and we will keep much better conditions for the body.
-
To be sure, it will require that there be kept an alkalin reaction for the system, with the use of the properties that have been indicated in the citrus fruit diets and the alkalin-reacting food values.
-
At times use the Milk of Magnesia, the Milk of Bismuth with the small quantities of the Lactated Pepsin - alternately - to keep the system cleansed; also the colonic irrigations at times.
-
And should there be a return of the weakness from nervous reaction, make and prepare the general stimulant of the tonic that has been given for the body; using those conditions that have been indicated, and we will find we will keep the conditions in a much nearer normal reaction for this body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What breakfast drink besides Ovaltine would be well? (A) Any that the body finds agrees with it at this particular meal. Preferably, of course, the citrus fruit juices at this meal. If certain other influences or forces are desired, use Sanka Coffee; it’s very good!
-
(Q) Please give any other advice to further the improvement of this body. (A) Do these things that we have given and the advice is alright, if it will be applied!
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/16/35 “My rdg. came a wk. ago - and I want to thank you for sending it so promptly. It relieved my mind more than I can begin to tell you. I guess you could tell, if you read it, that most of my trouble at that time was mental - in fact the rdg. plainly said so - and it really was. It frightened me so when I got sick on New Year’s and I thought how far I am away from you - but it seems a mental ailment is as bad as a physical one. I’m feeling pretty well now. Have to watch myself constantly as to diet and when I do I get along alright. Some day we will learn, MAYBE.”

B2. 1/1/35 “We got up real early this a.m. and went to Pasadena to the beautiful flower parade… We stood a couple hrs. watching the parade and by the time it was nearly over the sun was beaming down at such a rate - and I was so exhausted from the crowd and everything that I suddenly became very sick and passed right out of the picture. There was a very nice woman who lived in the next block from where we were standing and she had them take me to her house until I had fully recovered. [348] and [514] were with me. I’m feeling much better tonight, but don’t feel quite right yet. In fact haven’t felt so very well for the past few days, and I get panicky so far away from you. My last rdg. said I should get a ck. up on myself occasionally, and it has been more than 3 mos. since I have had one. I’m asking you to please give me a ck. rdg. the first chance you have… I feel so dependent upon you. I have helped myself a lot through right thinking, as you tell me to do, but it seems I must slip sometimes - but I will keep trying.”
