1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

2. There are some changes in the general condition, and the acute effects affect the nervous system, the digestive forces, the heart’s activity, causing the inability of the proper functioning through the alimentary canal - also the weakness.

3. This arises as we find from natural changes [menopause?] that are taking place in the system, as combined with weaknesses that have been described, and the acute reaction from the nervous reaction that has occurred with the mental forces of the body.

4. These as we find need precautions, then, and the activities that will make for the allaying of the nerve reactions.

5. So, we would take one Salicon tablet.

6. Also, to settle the stomach and make for a better reaction through the alimentary canal, we would prepare:

Limewater…1/2 ounce, Cinnamon Water…1/2 ounce, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium…10 minims, 10% solution Bromide of Potassium…30 minims.

7. Shake the solution well and take a teaspoonful in tablespoonful of water every hour until there is a quieting of the digestive system or the stomach and the headache.

8. It would be well that the compound [in 340-23] which has been given for the colon, including the Wild Ginseng and the like, be refilled or recompounded; and this taken as a tonic as well as the general conditions.

9. Necessary that manipulations be administered to relax the system; these especially for the head and the neck and in the lumbar area; these we would do.

10. In the diet - keep those foods that are strengthening but that are liquid or semi-liquid for the next day or two.

11. When necessary use the irrigations to reduce the temperature, to reduce the disturbance and distress through the alimentary canal, until the properties as indicated have had the opportunity for their activity upon the body.

12. And keep the mental attitude constructive.

The analysis of the Reading covered the condition perfectly.

(3) What was the physician’s analysis of this condition?

The Osteopathic analysis coincided with Reading as far as she went, but she [Sunora L. Whiteside, D.O.] only said it was a colitis condition.

(4) Have the suggestions given in the Reading been followed exactly as outlined?

Yes.

(5) For how long?

For a week or ten days.

(6) Describe the extent to which improvements have resulted?

Have never received such quick results from an attack of this kind - The relief was what I would term miraculous.

(7) Comment.

Have never followed a Reading that the results promised were not received.
