Born March 5, 1885, in Kriesk, Russia. Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, New York.

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes - a variation in time here - March 7th - 14th! A funny background.

3. We have the records here of that entity now known as or called [3403].

4. In giving an interpretation of the records as we find them, these we would choose with the desire and hope that the entity may apply the suggestions here in the experience and thus aid it in better finding itself and its relationships with the universal forces or God.

5. In analyzing these, many phases of the experiences in the earth may be needed in determining those latent and manifested activities, as well as those purposes builded by the entity in producing and making the soul-body.

6. For we find varied individuals are as opposite as it may be possible to find, even though there may be no change in environ, no change in body-structure, no change in the activities of the environs but in what they think or do.

7. The entity is one of those exceptional individuals, yet the entity would easily succumb to weaknesses or faults in others. Thus the greater warning would be that the entity not be quite so stand-offish with men and so easily “smitten” with the views, the conversations or the helps from characters - characters - in the opposite sex.

8. These become, then, a part of the entity’s consciousness; as Jupiter, Mercury, Mars. All of these become a part of the experiences; in Jupiter the universal consciousness, the universal love; in Mars the anger, but tending to make for an overactive body, a very active body at the age and the experiences of the entity in the earth. These are well, provided the entity keeps that balance that is the prompting of the soul to the physical body, and with the mind ever determined to be what the divine would have the body to be.

9. As to urges latent and manifested, the abilities in a universal consciousness, there are the tendencies to look for the good of all - also the interest in things pertaining to a combination not of astrological subjects nor conversation respecting symbology, yet these are very close to each other - if the sources of their aid are considered in their relationships with the universal consciousness.

10. As to the appearances in the earth, these have been many. Not all of them are given here, but these that there may be the application of self in those things pertaining to the material, spiritual and physical welfare of the entity:

11. Before this the entity was in the land of the present sojourn, close to Philadelphia, when there were the settlings in the land.

12. The entity was among the natives who made treaties or pacts of confidence with the teachers around Philadelphia.

13. Hence we find that the entity would do well to put itself in those environs, rather than too much in other environs that are so oft questioned.

14. The entity gained. For the attempts of the entity were to unite the efforts of all people upon a common basis - and this must ever be spiritual, and it can never be material or social wholly.

15. Then the entity was known as Shufute.

16. Before that the entity was in the Norse land when there were those disturbing conditions or the overrunning of central Europe by the Huns.

17. These the entity aided in not merely subjugating but rather in setting them in the right light. Hence the ability of the entity to act in the capacity as an interpreter or representative of certain lines of endeavor with foreign or universal sources, through those relationships as established there.

18. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land during those periods when there was overactivity by the entity in assisting those to make preparations in universal consciousnesses, or those attempts to study, analyze or read that which had been written by various hand experts, as well as the choosing of the various forms of endeavor. The entity was the center of such activities in certain groups.

19. Hence we find the entity in the present carried away at times with the abilities of self, and yet so easily “taken in” by a pretty face or one who weeps too much at times.

20. These should be accepted, not rejected; for it is better to trust one heart and that deceiving than to doubt that heart which if believing would bless thy heart with true meaning.

21. Keep in those things, then, that are within thine own awareness in knowing the well-being of all things.

22. The lines of endeavor would have to do with creative things, garment making or creations of such - these would be better for the entity.

23. In the activities let there be ever those helpful forces from the Creative Forces or God.

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) What should be the entity’s purpose in the present incarnation and how can he best accomplish it? (A) As indicated, first find self and its own relationships with Creative Forces. That is the way, and trusting in that ye may walk in the true and narrow way that leads to a comprehension of the present, and understanding of the past, and a sureness in the future.

26. (Q) Are there changes indicated in family affairs, and with what attitude can I best meet them? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, rightly dividing the words of truth and keeping self unspotted from the world. With every relationship handled in that spirit, the entity will be brought into his true relationship with the Creative Forces or God. This is true with every entity.

27. (Q) Would appreciate any advice regarding spiritual development, especially as related to family and business affairs.

(A) None better than that given. In interpreting and making practical in every day living those truths which ye know; in thy experiences with family, with friends, with acquaintances, with associates, yea with strangers.

Dear Mr. Cayce

The reading you gave me is correct and constructive, my tendency is as you described it, I hope and pray for guidance and help to be able to master it the right way.

My lines of endeavor years ago was in manufacturing ladies coats and was very successful in it.

My present aim is to bring Unity of Mankind, am herewith enclosing you one of my Booklets and letter which I am sending out to the Clergy, Teachers, Newspapermen, Authors, Public Officials, Lawyers, Judges, and Prominent Businessmen, those that I find in the American Who is Who, if you have any suggestion to make please let me know.

Could you please explain the variation in time and the funny background you say in your letter, also did you get other incarnations, as a long time ago I saw several other incarnations, one as a big churchman, also could you give the nearest date and name of the town or towns near Philadelphia that I was in last incarnation, and what kind of a native.

Please mail me another copy of your Life and Work containing applications April 1941, also copy of life readings of July 1941 same as I received from you before, as I want to interest others in your work.

Dear Mr. Cayce

As plans are laid for the post war period of men and nations, and as it is said “Except the Lord build the house they labour in vain that build it”, this enclosed Booklet is sent to you for your generous perusal, hoping that this inspired publication will be of service.

Please be assured that it’s aim is not personal nor is it for any particular sect.

Due to the present world conditions, I prayed and continue to pray to our Heavenly Father for understanding and guidance that I may be of service in His Vineyard. Thus have I been impressed with the thoughts that should be brought to the attention of mankind. I have searched for sentences in the teachings of God’s great messengers, to express these thoughts, and have found more material in some and less in others, all of which has been incorporated in my Booklet.

I am also impressed with the thought that His great messengers are united in inspiring those that are ready to work in His Vineyard for uniting all His children, and hope that those that are in a position to help accomplish this work will not neglect their duty. Christ exemplified the Kingdom of God by the talents (Mat. 25:14.28); that the one who received one talent and made no effort to increase it, even this one will be taken from him, and he will not enter God’s Kingdom.

Received your letter of 10/11/43 also the forms explaining your work in the life readings and your life & work, am very much interested in it.

Please let me know if you will give me a reading. I don’t know the exact date of my birth, I was born in Russia, there was no records kept at that time, have inquired years ago from a person that was spiritually developed and was given as March 5th 1883 or March 5th 1885 have adopted 3/5/1885 as my birthday, also if I can get the reading while I am in Brooklyn, N.Y. and you at Virginia Beach.

In addition I want to get a reading for two of my children, what is the amount I have to send you, and can I know the time.

I have yours of the 30th that you will give me a life reading in the afternoon December 10th 1943 - 3:30 to 4:30 Eastern war time, am very thankful to you for giving me this early preference, I will meditate and pray during that hour for the good of all concerned.

The particular questions I like to know is, previous incarnations, purpose of present incarnation, advise best way to accomplish it, will there be any changes in the family affairs? if so how soon, and what attitude I should take.

Any advice regarding spiritual development for progression & regarding family affairs & business, that would help me to accomplish most good in this incarnation for higher things.
