This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of October, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [341].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 10:05 A. M Eastern Standard Time.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [341] of …, Virginia, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lessons to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind, [341], here, with the dreams as have come to this body. Ready for dream.

  3. (Q) Night of October 21, 1925, or morning of 22, 1925, at home. “Dreamed of preparing for visitors, of having much cleaning to do and quite a commotion going on. Seemed someone was sick somewhere.” Recall rest of dream and interpret. (A) In this we find the conditions of the subconscious forces giving the presentation, through the cosmic forces, of conditions existent in physical forces, and this presents then that to come. For with visitors and the commotion as is usual with unusual conditions, there will come the call for one who is ill, see? Then a telepathic condition as is presented through this mind, that may be developed to that of a higher correlation of subconscious force and telepathic forces.

  4. (Q) “Dreamed of building fence in …, Kentucky, with several other persons. Dreamed of losing my trousers and other clothes, and help received by some boys coming from town, who were being mistreated by others. I offered to help them if they would help me.” (A) This, as we see, presents the emblematical conditions to the entity’s self, and should be apparent with study of the individual, see? for through subconscious forces this again is presented in an emblematical manner. Building of fence, hedging self about by own individual interpretation of conditions. Losing of clothing, presenting that bareness, nakedness, nudeness, to which self is reduced, by not opening self to an understanding, see? and with aid to others, as is seen, presents that help that comes to self through assistance to others. Gaining then that lesson, that understanding from same wherein service, service - the self-service, is the greater criterion to the successes of life.

  5. We are through for the present.
