This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 27th day of October, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [341].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 2:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [341] of …, Virginia, and the dreams this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind, [341], here. We have had this before, you see. Now we find the dreams as come to this body are of that threefold nature. Some may be used for the mental development of the entity. Some must be forgotten. Some may be used for the physical, for the spiritual, development, see? Ready for dream.

  3. (Q) October 24, 1925: “I saw an airship fall, saw the occupant but do not remember what he did.” (A) Again that same emblematical condition which has been so fitly represented and presented to the entity as regards those ideals, or those conditions builded into that mentality and portion of the soul that becomes a part of that which might be unstable.

  4. (Q) “I saw or knew that Mother, Daddie and Teddie were picking flowers in what seemed the orchard at …, Kentucky. Teddie returned to the house without Muddie and Daddie, saying that there was no one to go with her. (May have been more to this.)” (A) This again that exemplification to the mental mind of conditions as arise in the mentality of the entity as pertain to that as is happening, as it were, in the life of the entity, see? and is picturalized or dramatized, or visualized, in the emblematical forms for the entity’s ability to gain conception of same. As is seen in the life of those visioned in the dream, those near and dear to the entity, with their occupation in and near places near and dear to the entity, the return of one held high in the esteem of the entity, with the injection as given, “No one to go with me,” alone - as is seen by that entity - these expressing, then, these lessons and truths to this entity: In seeking even those beauties a come to the spiritual and cosmic forces of an earthly entity, necessary that those conditions go with same that make the companionship a oneness with the whole truths as are seen and known by the entity’s mental conception of spiritual, moral, and mental truths, see?

  5. (Q) “[419] and I were going somewhere on a bus. We reached what seemed home. Several people were there, perhaps one of them Mamie […]. A group were on the porch but later were seated at the dinner table. [288] jumped up and went out. [419] asked me if that was my room, pointing to the kitchen. I replied, ‘No, that’s the kitchen!’” (A) “That’s the kitchen” the whole lesson as is gained here, for the rest, as we see are that correlation of a combination of mental forces with the attributes of the physical acting with the digestion of the body. “That’s the kitchen” representing, then, to the entity, in the mental position of same, the necessary qualifications for that perfect condition as is seen in the necessity of same in a household to make same a home, with all those conditions that go with same.

  6. (Q) “I saw a girl collecting. She entered a store and asked a man to pay a bill. He replied that there had just then more been added to the bill and they had better wait until they got it all straight.” (A) This, to the mind, presenting those conditions in the mental development of the entity, reaching that place wherein necessary often for entity to take stock with self, either adding to that necessary to increase the qualifications of the entity, or settling up for that already obtained.

  7. We are through for the present.
