This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 3rd day of June, 1933, in accordance with request made by her husband, Mr. […], new Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. [257].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, Mrs. [344].

2. Now, as we find, while the body is very weak, and there is little resistance in the physical forces, it is in that condition which may be termed the recuperative period from those activities from the outside; or from operative measures.

3. As we would find, there are specific conditions that may aid in this recuperative period; that, added to the ministrations that have been given, would aid materially in bringing better conditions to the body faster, and enable the body to build resistance in the system.

4. We would not change the diet.

5. We would not add materially to those compounds, or complicated activities for the system; but we would use an eighth grain of the animated or carbon ash each day, this preferably taken in the evening, as it will make the rest easier, it will stimulate the activities in the system for the carbonizing, hence producing better oxidization and stimulating system. This should be taken dry on the tongue, using a little water to wash same down or to form the basis for the activity of the system.

6. Fifteen, to twenty, to thirty minutes after the ash is taken, apply the electric vibrations from the violet ray; though the applicator used would be that held in the hand - first in one hand, and then the other - each day that it is taken, and then to the foot - bottom of foot, on either side of body; making a circle of the body, for fifteen or twenty minutes, with that applicator through which the vibration of the electrical forces passes through the system. This, with the ash, will revivify and enable the blood stream to cleanse itself better by the activity that is created in all nerve impulses throughout the system, stimulating the activity of the glands, of the organs themselves, and of both the lymph and arterial circulation, by the activity of the carbon in system - as well as the nerve impulses. This will not over- act on the heart or the circulation, if given in this way and manner; and, as we find, would be most beneficial for this body, Mrs. [344].

8. (Q) What benefit was the operation to her? (A) It removed the causes of conditions.

9. (Q) Is present locality best for her? (A) When there is sufficient strength gained it would be well for the body to be moved where there may be more oxygen and more clarified air; as in sun, sand and sea. Virginia Beach would be very good for the body, WHEN it has advanced some two to three weeks from the present conditions.

10. (Q) How long will it take to bring body to normal? (A) That depends, of course, upon the applications. As we would find, with these added to the administrations that have been given - both in the diet and in the compounds taken occasionally by the body, in six to eight weeks there should be brought about a complete recovery.

11. (Q) What exercise can body consistently take? (A) Not until there are changes, or until ready for body to be moved should there be any great amount of exercise taken.

Follow these suggestions as we have given here, and we will find better conditions coming for this body.
