This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of November, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [3446], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. (Notes read to and transcribed by Jeanette Fitch.) Harmon Bro.]

Time of Reading 3:35 to 4:40 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Ohio.

  1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3446].

  3. As we find, conditions are rather serious. Greater precautions are to be taken by the body, else there may be greater acute conditions arising.

  4. Those administrations and suggestions for the character of diet, for the better control of the heart and the circulation, are very well. But if these were added, we find it would be much preferable and much more in keeping with the sources of the conditions - though these have become of such a nature that the disturbance is with or in the organ itself, thus altering the pressure and the general effect upon the central nerve and blood system.

  5. But we find that there are those things that will aid, in addition to that being administered. We would suggest the removal of the distresses through the alimentary canal, especially in the colon, by colonic irrigations - gently but correctly given.

  6. Follow these with a gentle massage, not heavy corrections to be attempted in any portion but rather the relaxing. And this will prevent the necessity of there being so much stimulation to control the circulation along the central nervous system, or the arterial circulation.

  7. The circulation then especially between liver and heart, lungs and heart, liver and kidneys, will be eased - and thus make for rest; though, when there is ease, do not overtax the body, do not strain the body until better equilibrium is established and at least until there has been considerable change in the pressure.

  8. Do that, and we will find we may contribute to the better well being of this body of [3446].

  9. Ready for questions.

  10. (Q) How often should the colonic irrigations be given? (A) About ten days apart or longer, dependent upon the amount of gas and mucous indicated in the colon.

  11. (Q) If the treatments are carefully followed, will the blood pressure come down? (A) This should aid more with the massage, than all the stimulations to the circulation - because we can equalize the circulation in this way and manner.

Do that for the better conditions of this body.

  1. We are through with the reading.

Two copies to Self (one for the physiotherapist who is to administer the colonics and massages - Please let us have the name and address of the one you choose.) Copy to Ass’n file ” ” Miss Goodall for indexing
