On a farm along Time of Reading the … in 4:25 to 4:40 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Virginia.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

3. Here we have complications from after effects of conditions that have existed in the body. The effects first of intestinal flu, which has left those tendencies for inflammation throughout the areas cf the jejunum, and has caused impactions in many folds of the colon - and especially in the caecum area.

4. These have been followed by undulant fever which causes conditions throughout the thymus and the adrenals, the thyroids, and all to secrete larger quantities of acids than can be controlled nominally in the body.

5. As we find, these may be materially aided.

6. It is not necessary that there be other than a competent and a spiritual-minded nurse; preferably such should be minded toward Christian Science, but willing to use these suggestions.

7. For the powers within must be spiritualized. Not that the body is not spiritual-minded, but there is the necessity to be spiritual-minded and then able to gain control sufficiently over the power of mind in the body as to cause the vibrations from the atomic structures to produce health-giving forces, rather than taking the continual suggestions “I’m sick and going to stay sick.” These reactions should be brought about by suggestion as well as application. For know, as was given from the beginning, it is necessary to subdue the earth. Man is made, physically, from every element within the earth. So, unless there is a coordination of those elements of the environs in which the animal-man operates, he is out of attune - and some portions suffer. He must contain and command those elements. These are subduing, using, controlling; not being controlled by but controlling, those environs, and influences about same.

8. Thus, we will find, as indicated here, there should be taken an intestinal antiseptic. This should be constantly using, sufficiently to keep the body alkaline. Either Lavoris or Glyco-Thymoline. Both are antiseptics, both are alkaline. Put a few drops of either of these in each glass of water that is taken. Do not drink any carbonated waters.

9. Do occasionally take, after the heavier meal of the day, a teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth and twelve drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin in half a glass of water. To be sure, this will tend to form congestions through a portion of the alimentary canal, but there must be the absorption of the scales, as it were, out of the intestinal tract - but in such a manner as not to produce temperature again, or so violently as to produce an infection again.

10. If the intestinal antiseptic is taken first for several weeks, this will allay and keep down this tendency for congestion through lungs as well as through the alimentary canal.

11. When the Bismuth and Pepsin are taken, though, in the next six to eight weeks, we would have a colonic irrigation - after the Bismuth and Pepsin has been taken each day for two or three days.

12. Take time to give the colonics. Don’t hurry with it, to get through in thirty minutes or even an hour. Take two or three hours to do it, and do it thoroughly, though gently. Have the water body temperature, not hotter, not colder. Use the antiseptic in each quantity of water injected.

13. After each one of these treatments, do massage the body with cocoa butter and 20% grain alcohol solution. Give the grain alcohol rub, then the cocoa butter rub following same; this along either side of the spine, especially over the sternum - that is, the lower portion of the lungs, the diaphragm area, the chest, under the arms, along the edge of the mammary glands and the abdominal areas.

14. Do these thoroughly and we will find that we will gain greater strength for this body.

17. (Q) Would appreciate any further suggestions as to diet, exercise, change of habits. (A) Keep to those things that are almost pre-digested in the beginning, until the body is thoroughly cleansed.

18. (Q) Is it essential that she move to another climate - where, when? (A) Not necessarily so. If it is where there is a more even temperature it would be preferable, but not necessary - if there are the sympathetic environs for the body and the proper mental and spiritual atmosphere in the nursing.

19. (Q) Is the body allergic to dogs or to any other substance? (A) It’s allergic to anything that anybody tells it that it is! That’s why we have given that the nursing is to be done by one who may control the mind activities of the body.

What ailment or disease has she and what is the cure? Would appreciate an explanation of what Rheumatic Fever is and what treatment is effective for it. What is the difference between Virus Pneumonia and pneumonia, and how do the treatments differ? How can the body be prevented from catching colds? Is there any treatment to create immunity? What should be done to cure her colds?

B1. 11/29/43 Husband submitted questions, saying: “Doctors have diagnosed her case as rheumatic fever, as a result of inflammatory rheumatism when she was 15 years - with resultant damage to her heart - with the cumulative result that she has had 10 pneumonias in the last eight years. Treatment she is now undergoing includes 15 grains of sulphadaizine daily since last May to continue until next May with the hope that the rheumatic germs will disappear and the rheumatic fever cease; thus increasing her resistance to catching colds which have developed into pneumonia. Vicious circle.”
