Born November 3, 1912, in Rome, Georgia.* Time of Reading % A.P.O., 3:35 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern War Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity; that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: *Rome, Georgia - a new place on the cycle!

3. Yes we have that record of the entity now called [3463].

4. Here we have another Atlantean who - in his study and the application of himself - will either make something so unusual as to almost startle the world or he won’t amount to a “hill of beans”. This will depend upon the application of the entity.

5. He is given to various types of study. He may also write a very good book, but don’t ever try to write but one. If you do, you’ll spoil all you ever undertook.

6. In giving the interpretations of the records, these we choose with the desire and purpose that this information may be a helpful experience for the entity; thus enabling the entity - in the application of ideals and purposes - to better fulfil those purposes for which the entity entered this sojourn.

7. Best had there been the ideals and purposes given the entity rather than so much of the records of that which has been a part of the experience in the earth, and through those interims of experiences in other dimensional consciousnesses.

8. As indicated here, we have an exceptional entity - in abilities. Not that there is such an unusual look, mien or manner, but in the innermost self - in its study - there may be the application in the chemical or in the mental and spiritual field of those truths, tenets or experimentations, that may startle the world - if the entity first attains confidence in self, yet knowing that the confidence must rest in the wholehearted purpose and trust in the divine, knowing that it is not of self but an opportunity to make amends for those shortcomings that have been a part of the its experience in the material world, when in those experiences in Atlantis ye brought death, destruction, sin and ugliness in many, many ways.

9. These ye must meet in self and these ye may meet in Him, who is the way, the truth and the light. If the entity rejects this and takes to those things that may be for the gratifying, the satisfying of self’s desires, self’s vanities, woe be unto the entity not only here but in those experiences to come.

10. Astrologically we find urges from Mercury, Saturn, Mars, Uranus. These bring the high mental abilities. In Saturn there is ofttimes not the consideration of others nor the sources from which all good must arise. For it can only come from one source, and it is not material alone. The material is merely the result. It must be builded in spiritual purposes. It must be builded according to the spirit with which a soul-entity is entertained or moved.

11. These are not merely theories. Look about you - at the world, at the history of people, the history of nations, the history of individuals, either by families or by individuals. It is that purpose with which the activities are brought into being that is important.

12. In Saturn there will be brought many changes.

13. Uranus brings the extremes.

14. Be not unmindful that there must be a measuring up; not to become as a recluse but be happy, be joyous - letting it all be in the Lord. For the purpose of the entity in the earth is to manifest. And coming at this opportune time when there must soon be the rebuilding of causes, of purposes in the world, be ready before 1948 to meet those responsibilities that may be thine if ye have prepared thyself for them - as related to state, nation, not necessarily as a political figure, though this, too, may be a part of thy experience if there is the choice in those directions. But rather in those fields as would pertain to chemistry and spirituality as applied in the lives of people in high places. Peculiar combination, you say - and yet what is chemistry? As the spirit, the basis, the cause, the first cause in spirit. So is chemistry in the first cause of material things that come to pass, in their change, in their preparations. So apply self in those directions.

15. As to the appearances of the entity in the earth, these have been quite varied. These are not all, but those that apply in the experience of the entity in this present cycle. So, before the next cycle do be in the position to use an opportunity as may be thine.

16. Before this the entity was in the Roman land when there began those periods of the decline as to morality or as a political power and morality held in state.

17. The entity then held to those tenets, those truths, that whatever would not measure to the standards of Him, who had set the way, deserved not to be preserved in the earth. And the entity became a martyr for that edict, for holding to that - in the name Stoll.

18. The entity gained spiritually. Remember, he that will lose his life shall find it, he that will preserve life will lose it. These are the natural laws as to the material things. In the spiritual the entity gained, and in the present may have the opportunity under those environs where again a clarion call may come to all, that all must come under the banner of the living Christ, the living Christ in the hearts and minds of men everywhere.

19. Before that the entity was among those journeying to the promised land, among those peoples chosen to spy out the land, and was with the leaders who returned with the good report.

20. The entity was persuaded by the greater number that there was not the ability to conquer or to overcome. The name then was Japin. The entity lived through that experience regretting the rejections of those convinced within self by the Holy Spirit by God, just to be on the popular side for the moment. The entity again and again regretted the declaration that the optimism of Caleb and Joshua was foolhardy.

21. Thus in the present there may be the warning, do not reject that thou knowest in thine heart, mind and soul, to satisfy a moment of gratification, of being popular, or being upon the popular side. But know that self is right, and that it is in keeping with the divine within self. For there is within each soul, each entity, that image of the Creator which - if there is the attuning of the self, the ego, the I AM to the divine - which may enable nothing to hinder the entity from accomplishing, attaining any position of power that is the desire of the heart. But use it aright. Forget not the declaration made by him whom ye rejected that led those people into the Holy Land, “Let others do as they may, but as for me, I will serve the living God.”

22. Before that the entity was in Atlantis when there were those turmoils just before the breaking up of that land.

23. The entity was among the children of the Law of One, and yet allowed the sons of Belial to persuade the entity to gratify the desires of the body for the moment and to attempt to keep those things that had found bodies and yet might be educated by patience, by love, by kindness and longsuffering, into their relationships to the Creative Forces. The entity chose rather to reject the warnings giving by the spokesman from the holy sources, those activities that had been the warnings to those peoples in the earth.

24. Hence the entity finds the emotions of the mental and the physical being oft at war one with another. But laying aside the things that do so easily beset, let the entity run with glorious desires the race set before thee, being at-one with those purposes that it has found in its experiences in the earth.

27. (Q) Through what channel or talent can he make his best contribution to his day and generation, and to his own development? (A) As indicated.

28. (Q) Should he work for his Ph.D. in Dramatic Literature when he finishes Army service? Is so, where? (A) Wherever he chooses. This may be well if he wishes to write the book. If he chooses to carry on in the Armed services, forget it. The book will come of itself.

29. (Q) Should he take some step in the direction of Hollywood - what? (A) The farther he stays from Hollywood the better, and the more apt he will be to make a success, materially, mentally and spiritually.

30. (Q) Is there anyone in England whom he should now meet in the interest of his life work? (A) There are millions of ‘em for whom he may do good. Don’t hurt for somebody to do good for you! Find somebody that you can do good for!

My dear Mr. Cayce:-

Many thanks for the sending so quickly the Life Reading, knowing as I do of that big daily mail bag!

Before I send [3463]‘s copy to him, I am asking for more light on the crux of the purpose for which I asked at the reading just the talent or gift or channel through which God wanted [3463] to make his contribution. What did God intend [3463] to do in the world today?

The answers in the reading is worded thus: Page 3 “but rather in this field that pertain to chemistry and spiritually as applied in the lives of people in high places.”

Does that reading mean that he should study the science of chemistry?

What does or rather who is meant by “LIVES OF PEOPLE IN HIGH PLACES.” (Please make clear)

Spiritually I can understand as meaning that the entity should cultivate his spiritual natures & understanding. The references to chemistry as a science to be studied is not so pointed. If you will clear up & make plain this reference. Would you say this? A spiritually developed chemist?

Page 2, is this sentence:- “Best had there been the ideals and purpose given the entity rather than so much of the records of that which has been a part of the experiences in the earth and through those interims of experiences in other dimensional consciousnesses.” (What is meant?)

The first part of sentence - is this a reference to my brief outline of [3463] school record?

Am I right in this? That a child’s talents or gifts or strong preferences, such as science, or music, or writing ar “sign posts” the creator has given for the unfoldment of the child’s nature. And that God is seeking to manifest through those special gifts?

The tremendous & unbelievable surprise is that [3463] should work in the field of chemistry, when every inclination & success has been in the field of the Arts.

The glorious record - is that he has been a MARTYR for Christ Jesus.

The heart break is the Atlantean record.

The diagnosis - that [3463] (entity) can accomplish a great deal more by application with the purpose.

Is there no middle ground - “startle? or nothing?”

I will call over long distance by thought this would help clarify my questions.

Dear Mrs. […]

I have yours of the 20th, regarding reading for your son. I wish it were possible for me to sit down and talk this over with you. It is mighty hard to put this on paper, yet I suppose if I can say it at all, I can write it, but to me it is hard to write anything, and it may take a lot of words.

Yes, the answer on page three of the reading, as I interpret it, is he should make a study of chemistry. The application of it would be in lives of individuals who are in high places, that is, are in places of responsibility, or people who have been doing things that have to do with many people’s lives. I think the implication is that so many people in studying the signs of chemistry lose sight of what is being used in a spiritual manner. That is, there is one chemistry that is destructive, there is another that would be constructive, creating things for better living, or as we hear often pronounced by certain radio programs, chemistry for better living, but they make destructive chemistry also.

One page two I think it is still insisting that he should be more spiritual and not too material. His activities in other appearances might better have been applied in giving spiritual advice.

Yes, I think the inference to his abilities is that in whatever His working there is seeking, or a willingness of God to manifest through his work, if he is willing to apply himself in that direction.

Yes, we often are astounded at the suggestions made, and as is indicated in his reading, he has a tendency in the field of art, but has the abilities to make a more tremendous success in the field of chemistry.

It apparently is a period when many of the Atlanteans are reborn in the earth, a period when there are great opportunities for people with great abilities, and with [3463] as most anyone else, I know we have it in our own sons, they will either make a marvelous success spiritually and mentally, or a miserable failure, though might make a material success.

Apparently people who are endowed with such great abilities, as we often note, there is not much middle ground for them. They are either wonderful successes, or to themselves and to others miserable failures, one extreme goes with the other.

I do hope this helps clarify it a bit. The information speaks much better for itself than I can explain. If you read it over and then lay it aside and then read it again, I think you will find it kind of opens to you in a way that you don’t get it the first time, or two, that you read it.
