This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 20th day of December, 1943, in accordance with request made by the aunt - Mrs. […], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by the article in Coronet.

At the Hill Crest Time of Reading Sanatorium, 3:45 to 4:55 P. M. Eastern War Time. Birmingham, Ala.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: As we find, there are very definite disturbances here. These require that corrections and placements be made with the organs of the pelvis, and that the lesions or adhesions are corrected there, as well as in the lacteal duct area.

3. These began from an injury in the pelvic organs that caused the forming of an adhesion there. This has brought about the spells of insomnia, the tendencies for inhibitions, the crying, and the general tendencies for this excited and yet timid manner exhibited by the body.

4. These disturbances should be discovered if careful examinations were made there. We find that these might be better prepared and cared for by an osteopathic gynecologist. If these corrections would be made, we should find better conditions for this body.

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) What is causing convulsions? (A) The combination of the distresses where, as well as the adhesions or lesions in the lacteal duct - with the plethoric condition produced in the first and second cervical.

7. (Q) Why is the skin so irritated, with even the scalp full of pimples? (A) The poor eliminations or the disturbances between the eliminating channels of the body, because of this disturbance in the lymph circulation throughout the body.

Corrections would come, as indicated by the correct adjustments of the position of the pelvic organs. For there is a tendency towards a hooded womb and this is from an injury to the wall of the vagina itself. This caused those conditions at the periods of the first menstrual flow. Since then these conditions have gradually grown more and more, and before the Periods they are very severe on the whole nervous system.

Do these things and we would make corrections for this body.

Pahnke, M.D.: The following notes were taken on cases as read and are merely the opinion of the abstractor at the time he read the case plus the correspondence. The main value of these notes is that they give some indication of what the exact diagnosis in each case may or may not be.

Case [3465]. Given in 1943. Female, 20 years old. This case was classed in group 2. There is no definite evidence in this case for diagnosis of epilepsy other than a letter from an aunt who says that the patient had convulsions. The readings say it was a Gyn. condition, hooded womb. The condition was originally caused from an injury in the pelvis which caused adhesions in the pelvic organs as well as lesions in the lacteal duct area. Specific directions for adjustments by Gyn. osteopath were given.

Why did she acquire an inferiority complex? Why is the skin so irritated, with even the scalp full of pimples? What is causing convulsions? Why does she worry about physical handicaps and not being like other girls? Why does she cry constantly? Why did she have this sudden breakdown? Why did she suffer so before menstruation, so nervously? Why is she so despondent?
