Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Calif.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be asked:

2. EC: Yes - we have the body here.

3. We find here a life well spent, yet there is the desire and purpose to hold onto same - even under the distresses of general disintegration.

4. The body and soul are here being held by the will and the prayers of others.

5. There may be help if there is still held that desire for life and activity. There is no healing of that which is spent. There may be ease and the better activity with the use of the ultra-violet light, if the green glass is used between the body AND the ultra-violet. This would be over those areas of the ribs, in the back, that there may be a greater flow and formation of the elements in the blood to create greater quantities of leukocytes in blood plasm.

6. For as the body wastes there is the greater necessity for more of the plasm that may cause coagulation in affected areas.

7. Use the ultra-violet with the green glass for at least a minute, once a day, but have it thirty-eight to thirty-nine inches from the body - using only the Mercury light. The piece of green glass, about ten by twelve inches, would be at least fourteen inches from body.

8. The rest we would keep as is.

9. But continue to hold that attitude expressed in the 14th of John, and let the body-mind unite with that purpose that ye may prepare for those that would come with thee, in the hope, in the life, in the purpose that is promised in the full resurrection of mind, of body, in the Christ. Amen.

Dear Sir:

Thank you for reading of December 28th. My friend Mr. […] got in touch with Dr. Miller of Los Angeles immediately upon receipt of your telegram. Since we live in a small country town it was necessary to obtain an ultra violet machine from Los Angeles. The machine was finally obtained and shipped and my father has been taking treatments two weeks now. His appetite has greatly improved since beginning the treatments.

The local doctor in … expressed the opinion that there would be little or no therapeutic value if the glass filter was used, due to the fact that quartz glass is unobtainable. What do you advise?

Thanking you again for your kindness and hoping that you will be with me in prayer for my beloved father.

Gentlemen:

Thank you for your letter. I am enclosing post office order for $1.00 for the first four publications listed in your circular, and application for membership.

For a year I have searched desperately for the miracle to bring relief to my father in his agony. The doctors said there was no hope - but I still have faith that a way will be found. I thought I had found that way through Mr. Cayce, but you say there are too many ahead of me. I cannot give up my hope. Neither my father nor I can give up our faith. The doctors marvel that he is still alive. I believe he is waiting for that miracle to happen. Who knows - it might be the Good Lord will see fit to reveal through Mr. Cayce some cure for this dread disease which has caused torture to hundreds of people.

Believe me, I wouldn’t have any creature suffer unnecessary pain but when you say “cases are taken in exact order of date received”, I know there must be many cases not so urgent, such as mental distress, etc. which come before cases of life & death. If there is any preference for such desperate cases, I BEG YOU to place my father’s name on the list at once. It must be at a month since I first wrote you from Los Angeles that should give us a little preference in regard to “date order”.

My friend, Mr. […] of Los Angeles tells me that he also telegraphed you with regard to my father, [3516], and sent you some money.

Please ASK MR. CAYCE if he can give any preference to urgent cases where approaching death is only a matter of weeks. I cannot give up repeating my request. Sincerely […]
