-
GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes.
-
As we find, there is much disturbance in the physical forces of this body in the present. There are those acute conditions, and there are those general conditions also that need attention, else we may later on have a great deal of trouble.
-
These are the conditions as we find them with this body, [3518] we are speaking of:
-
The cold and congestion existing through the whole of the lymphatic circulation, and the temperature caused by same, all need careful attention.
-
We would, first, keep the body quiet.
-
Take little or no foods except liquids, or fruit juices; orange juice with lime, or orange juice with lemon, hot.
-
We would take two aspirins, one Alophen pill, and one five-grain Asaphoetida.
-
If the body keeps quiet and takes hot drinks, keeping the feet hot, this should get at the source of the trouble. Put a hot water bottle to the feet, or a hot pad.
-
This should set up the eliminations much better, but keep quiet.
-
Over the chest and abdomen, also over the liver area, apply a cloth well saturated with an equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted) Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor. Then apply heat.
-
As to the condition existing in the organs of the pelvis, where cyst or tumor is indicated in the ovarian area - operative measures should be used here, when the body is well balanced or rid of cold, and there is better strength.
-
If there is pain through these areas, while this cold is being relieved, apply Glyco-Thymoline Packs - not with heat, however. These should be heavy Packs, using three to four thicknesses of cotton cloth.
-
Do these and we should bring better conditions, preventing a great deal of trouble later on.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Any suggestions as to who is best to operate? (A) We would have Taylor [Waller L. Taylor, M.D.] or those associated with same.
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/23/44 Report by friend, Miss [1695]: “Mrs. [3518] went to Dr. Taylor, her doctor, regarding the operation but he said she didn’t need one. So she went to a Norfolk doctor who found the cyst and operated. I came out to see her.”
R2. 5/24/44 EC’s ltr. to HLC: ”…Again last Sunday a lady came in to see me. She had been your brother-in-law’s patient. [Dr. Taylor, Va. Beach] The reading indicated she should have an abdominal operation. He had said, “No”. She went to two [doctors] in Norfolk. They read the reading and performed the operation. She reports that they say the reading was absolutely correct in every detail. I don’t know what they said, but anyway she is about and at home and as I said, came to tell me about it Sunday afternoon…”
