This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of December, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [3522], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., via EC lecture in N.Y. last winter.

Time of Reading 4:20 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern War Time. New York, N.Y.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes. As we find, there are many conditions that are very good. While there are those disturbances with the body as related to the genital organs, we find that these are responding to those treatments being administered.

3. We would only add that about once each week, the body have an osteopathic adjustment made for the lumbar and sacral areas; then coordinating from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cervicals; 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsals, 9th dorsal with those adjustments made in the lumbar and sacral. Have a good thorough treatment once a week until twelve are taken. Then leave off for two to three weeks, but continue with the homeopathic doses, as well as the other treatments in this direction.

5. (Q) How can I get rid of the hydrocele in my right testicle? (A) As indicated, this will respond to the treatments suggested if these are followed coordinately or cooperatively.

6. (Q) What will help the periodic hay fever condition? (A) The osteopathic treatments are to correct the associations or activities of the lymphatic circulation and the cerebrospinal system, and these will remove those tendencies in the mucous membranes and set up drainages so that there will be relief.

Use a spray occasionally of three parts Glyco-Thymoline and one part distilled water in a DeVilbiss atomizer.

R1. 9/7/44 He came for his Life reading, which had to be cancelled; said he had continued taking treatments outlined for him in his Physical Reading, except osteopathic treatments, and finds there is some improvement.

B1. 5/31/43 He referred Mrs. [3104] for a Physical Reading, he having met EC in N.Y. at a lecture last winter.

B2. 12/10/43 Letter: ”…For the last two years I have been suffering from a hydrocele in right testicle. It has caused no pain or actual discomfort, but am very anxious to get rid of same and without an operation if possible. Is an operation necessary? Outside of being nervous and rundown, I know of no other specific trouble (except hay fever every fall, and since I have had that all my life, I hardly expect to be cured of that).

“Have been taking treatment for about a year and nine months from a homeopath who is supposed to be unusual. He has done wonders for me in a general way, but he has not yet touched the hydrocele. He insists that that too will yield, but that it requires more time.

“I have heard of several cases where the old fashioned German salve treatment has been very successful in hydrocele. These cases happened many years ago, of course. I myself, when a child of five, was cured of a bad rupture by this treatment. I have tried to locate such a doctor, but there seems to be none left. I am told the American Medical Association has driven them all out.

“To get a means of getting cured of this hydrocele is what I am really concerned with in this reading, above everything else.

“I still have the same intense interest in a Life reading, but while waiting for December 18th to come around, the hydrocele began to get more and more ‘on my nerves,’ and so I decided to switch for the time being, and let the Life reading go until September 9, 1944…”
