This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 4th day of January, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3524], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will go over this body careful]y, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Huh! down the hill! [*?]

3. Yes, we have the body here.

4. As we find, these conditions grow rather serious for this body. To be sure, if there is the giving up to general debilitations and to the expanding - from the lack of full coordination between cerebrospinal nerves and the sympathetic, and especially the organs of the sympathetic system as related to the optics, and there is the enlarging of the optic nerve the glaucoma will become more and more proficient, and there will be less and less vision.

5. Hence the general health has much to do with the condition, and karma has much more.

6. Then, there should be the doing of the first things first; that is, the making of the mind and purpose in accord with a unison of activity in the purposes of the soul-entity toward Creative Forces or God.

7. For, who healeth all thy diseases? Who bringeth to pass justice in the earth? The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Thy opportunities and purposes, as with each soul, are only lent thee - as opportunities for thee. Use them to the glory of God and not to the willful disobedience in any manner.

8. Keep the faith, then, in that which is so specifically indicated in Exodus 19:5 - that is to thee, as it is to each soul who seeks to become one with the Father.

9. In the physical activities, do have at least three to five general, thorough hydrotherapy treatments. These would be to purify the body-forces, just as the mind would purify the mind and soul by the spiritual ideals and purposes.

10. Include in these the light Cabinet Sweats, Fume Baths using Witchhazel, Oil or Bubble Baths, and a thorough rubdown with oils using this combination:

Olive Oil…2 ounces, Peanut Oil…2 ounces, Lanolin (dissolved)…1/4 ounce.

Rest after these. Then apply mildly but thoroughly a little electric energy as to cause the re-charging of the body, as it were.

11. This light electric energy would preferably be applied by the use of a Dry Cell Appliance with two plates or bars to be attached to the body. Place in glass and set the bare feet on same, for at least a minute every other day that is, set the attachment plates on glass and put the feet on them, you see.

12. Do these and we will make for the best conditions for this body.

13. In the attitudes keep creative in thought, knowing that in Him is life and life more abundant to those who seek to do His bidding.

14. What is the first commandment with a promise? Said another way, it is life abundant. What is life? It is opportunity to serve the living God!

Will you please have this dry cell battery sent to me as soon as possible so that I can start treatment. You may send it either C.O.D., or send the bill along and I will immediately forward check.

It is quite urgent that you send this as soon as possible and if there is to be any delay please let me know.
