This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 30th day of December, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [3531], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Hurry up and get through talking!

3. Yes, we have the body here, [3531].

4. As we find, there are disturbing conditions from the effects of toxic forces causing irritation to the superficial circulation; and the lack of activities through eliminations causing pressures, upsetting stomach, headaches, and a disturbance through the areas of the kidneys and bladder, with the weaknesses that come to the body.

5. With the supplying of greater energies there has been help. If these were supplied through a better body-building energy, however, we find that better conditions would be brought for the body; that is, the vitamins necessary to bring the better conditions - which would be more of the sunshine vitamins, as well as phosphorous and iron. These may be found in a compound which we will suggest, but first cleanse the body.

6. Take first for two or three days the Castor Oil Packs over the liver and gall duct area; about three thicknesses of flannel saturated with hot Castor Oil, with an electric pad over same, so that the oil is driven into the body. Leave these on for at least an hour each day for three days in succession, each time sponging off afterward with warm soda water. Apply these preferably when the body is ready to retire.

7. After the third day, take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.

8. Then, even that same day, have a colonic irrigation or a high enema using a colon tube. This is to relieve those tensions.

9. Begin then (not before) and take daily the compound called KalDak; a heaping teaspoonful each day.

10. Do these and we will be rid of the headaches, we will have bettered conditions in eliminations, we will remove much of the tautness in fingers and hands.

11. If it is necessary, owing to the toxic forces, repeat the Castor Oil Packs. Some two or three series of these may be taken, but after each series take the Olive Oil internally and have the colonic irrigation.

12. Do these things and we will make better conditions for this body.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) What about the diet? (A) Not too great quantities of red meat. Take as much vegetables, and green vegetables, as practical.

Dear Mr. Cayce:

We received your reading for Mr. [3531]. He tried the Castor Oil Packs and thinks he has had splendid results. The prescribed KalDak not being obtainable here we had to send to the distributor, so it will be some time before we can let you know about the result.

I have been down to the states for medical help, but the up-to-date treatments with sulfa drugs, operations and injections of all kinds, do not appeal to me, as Mr. [3531] and myself had some previous experience with similar cures and remedies.

I am enclosing $45.00 for associate membership, which would include a physical reading, and the balance as a contribution to a good cause. I would appreciate very much if you could give me a reading in the near future, as I am AT A LOSS not knowing what to do for myself. [See 5184-1.]

I cancelled by wire the December 30th. reading, as it was very indefinite where I would be on that date. I expected to be enroute to Juneau aboard ship, but I could not let you know in my wire as the censor would not permit.

Mr. [3531] and I want to thank you for the splendid and very inspiring Christmas bulletin, and also the bulletin on the COLD. Both are very enlightening and instructive.

I pray and hope that you will be able to give me a reading in the near future.

I appreciated very much your letter giving me date of physical reading as of May 30, 1944, and I am looking forward to this with much interest.

Mr. [3531] feels that he has been wonderfully helped from the instructions which you gave him in his reading Dec. 30, 1943. He has also been taking the KalDak, and believes it is helping him very much.

I am enclosing herewith $10.00 and would appreciate it if you could also arrange to give me a Life Reading. If the amount which I am sending is not correct, please let me know.

Later on I will send you list of questions for the Physical Reading.

R3. 5/9/44 Wife [5184]‘s letter: Relative to Mr. [3531]‘s progress, - he has asked me to say to you that his condition is improving very much. He took the treatments twice which you prescribed for him, and at the time seemed to feel a very decided improvement. Following that, however, there seemed to be a condition of lowered vitality, but he has been getting out doors more away from his work in the shop, and shortening his hours of labor, all of which seems now to be resulting again in a more harmonious feeling in the body, and while he still gets very tired during the day I know he is now on the up-grade again. He has been taking the KalDak in accordance with your instructions, and feels that great benefit has resulted from its use. Would you suggest a check physical reading for him. If so, could it be arranged?

We are always glad to learn of beneficial experiences in response to the use of KALDAK and we will be pleased to pass your report on to Mr. Edgar Cayce for his information.

Owing to your letterhead indicating that you are in the health food business, we are enclosing herewith copy of our confidential dealer’s discount schedule that we extend to you and will appreciate your favorable consideration on establishing the sale of KALDAK at Juneau.

We were both tremendously impressed with the book, and the wonderful things which you have been able to accomplish. It is truly a gift which you must have developed in the past, and the fact that you are endowed with it during this particular reincarnation must mean that you have proven yourself worthy of it.

Years ago Mr. [3531] definitely decided that the medical profession did not understand his case, and since that time has sought relief only through the field of “natural methods.”
