This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 31st day of December, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [3611], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

Born February 8, 1884, in Bernhard Bay, New York. Time of Reading 4:15 to 4:40 P. M. Eastern War Time. Washington, D.C.

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life, also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [3611].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, there are many phases of the entity’s personality that must be taken into consideration if this being administered would prove a helpful experience for the entity.

4. We would minimize the faults and magnify the virtues. This should also be the policy and the tenets of the entity, to minimize the faults in others as ye would desire the Lord thy God to minimize thy faults before Him.

5. For in the same measure in which ye mete to others are ye using the opportunities, yea are ye fulfilling the obligations ye are due others.

6. High mental attributes of the entity are indicated. While many of those conditions which might be thought by the entity to be ideal, or at least love and thought-provoking, have been denied the entity - much of this has been rather by the entity’s choice.

7. Yet these very natures, these instincts of motherhood, the instincts of mothering, are latent and must find an outlet in some service the entity may render to others; else this instinct, this ability, this purposefulness in the heart and the soul of the very entity may become sour, may become indeed such as to make sterile the activities in the creative mind of the entity itself.

8. Yet the entity has abilities in directing or in depicting the thoughts or needs and the expressions in the creative field of writing, especially pertaining to nature or nature’s storehouse and the things in nature; as the study of ornithology and its expression or the part it plays in man’s life; the supplying of the instinct of creatures and the energies carried through its suggestive force to mankind.

9. Thus with the imagination of the entity applied in creative forces in these directions, this phase of human experience or relationship may be a part of those who are students of botanical or ornithological activities as to become of interest in making the life of the entity and its experience worth while.

10. Every rule of astrology has been put to rout by the entity, for the entity has at times been a law unto itself - and must learn cooperation. True, self is one in body, mind and soul; yet ye are the offspring of the Creative Force that relates the body, mind and soul of the entity to every other entity or soul, and to every expression of that Creative Force in the earth - and these also are to have their consideration.

11. Applying self in the relationships to others, things, conditions and experiences, then, is the expression of that of which the entity and soul itself is a part. These need to find expression in the entity’s activity, if the entity would become more and more a true, real manifestation of the Creative Forces in its relationships to its fellow man.

12. So live, then, that at the passing of this particular phase of thy experience - in what man calls death - thy abilities may still be creative in the minds, hearts and activities of others, even unto the third and tenth generation when ye may again enter and enjoy those relationships that ye have longed or sought for and apparently have lost in this experience because of self being true to an idea, but was it an ideal?

13. As to the appearances in the earth, these have been quite varied. Not all may be indicated here.

14. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity during the early settling, but in those environs of the Williams who settled in and about portions of Rhode Island.

15. There the entity was among those close in the associations of those purposes and ideals, and they became rather severe to the entity, as to its relationships with man. And these have found expressions in the present through a very one-way personality in these respects. Not that this is wrong, but is it the best? This will only be answered in self according to what it seeks as its ideal in such in its next appearance in the earth.

16. Then the entity was known as June Wallinger. The entity gained and stood still, and thus lost, and then ran away - in its own self.

17. The entity will find that warnings may be taken from those experiences, and that those tenets are to be manifested and studied.

18. Before that the entity was in the French land during those periods of the expressions in the Crusades, where individuals for ideas and ideals gave expression in a very zealous manner, minding not those things closest at hand but the green fields or visions of purposefulness just at the edge of the horizon, figuratively.

19. The entity was among those who were left by some of the overzealous, and suffered in the manners in which precautions were taken by the overzealous husbands and maids in preventing indiscretions among those of their own household.

20. These brought anxiety, trouble, the wrecking of vengeance within self upon others.

21. Is it ever the better manner to seek vengeance? What is the law respecting same? Be rather in peace with self, and God will require life for life, purpose for purpose, in thy relationship of mind and body to thy fellow man. God be the avenger, then, rather than the individual, and you will find a different peace within self and not the turmoils of anxiety or worry.

22. Never worry, so long as ye may pray.

23. The name then was Renee Schwalder.

24. Before that the entity was in the land of Saad, in the periods when there were peace proposals between the peoples of the hills and the valleys.

25. Thus the interests of the entity in the occult and the oriental, and those purposes of peoples who would pay penance, those who would make activities that would bring relationships between themselves and the higher powers by routine that might drain the appetites.

26. The entity must learn that this must be as much in the mental, or more. For the physical is the result of the spiritual ideals, and the mind as the builder brings those results. True, the body must at times have its discipline, but this is rather of mind and spirit as well as physical discipline.

27. The name then was Juenta.

28. Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land when there were those periods of the last upheavals, or the disappearance of the isles of Poseidia.

29. The entity was among those groups that went into what later became known as the Inca. For the entity then was in the line of the house of Inca, and was the mother of an Inca in the Peruvian land as called in the present.

30. The name then was Secunduca.

31. As to the abilities of the entity, then:

32. Learn, first, thyself. Apply thyself in Creative forces; in writing, in ministering to the needs of all peoples; as a speaker, as a writer, the entity may find the greater outlet for its abilities in the present.

33. Know thyself and in what ye believe. Seek the spirit, seek the purpose, if the body would be expressive.

Some years have passed since you received a Life Reading from Edgar Cayce. No doubt much has transpired in that interval for you - we assure you it has for us. As you probably know, Edgar Cayce passed on from this plane in January 1945. Since then, because of the readings and because of the eternal good that was Edgar Cayce’s life, we are impelled to carry on certain phases of this work. No small influence in this regard are the mounting requests with which we have been literally besieged from those who did not receive personal readings and who have heard or read about Edgar Cayce and his work.

We are positive that a law of universal validity lies behind the Life Readings and one of our projects is to be able to state that law in terms so simple and so complete that no one

What subject matter did you choose for writing? news, verse & nature, philosophical, biologic & physical science.

Do you feel that you find something - with each reading - or re-reading of this analysis that did not seem to be there with the previous reading? Yes - the language construction is difficult to understand.

I looked through the roster of the Rhode Island colony for June Wallinger to no avail. I found Joans but not Junes. If I was married there might have been another last name.

I’m afraid this isn’t very helpful but is the best I can do.

Dear Mr. Cayce,

The 31st of December will be O.K. so far as I know at present. I don’t know what kind of questions you want but my idea in asking for the reading was to learn something about the lives from which I brought obligations to this life and my general purpose. My life hasn’t had a very definite pattern so I feel I may have missed my goal, but I don’t know how to phrase that in questions so will leave that to you.

What kind of reading would be right for an alcoholic? I don’t know yet if he’d be interested but would like to know in case he is.
