-
GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3613].
-
As we find, many changes are taking place in the functionings of the organs of the body, especially as related to the general nerve strain on the body.
-
An environment or climate where the body might be in the open, with congenial companionship would add as much to the general health as anything else; where there can be walks, long walks. These would contribute to the general health.
-
The conditions in throat and lungs are the result of a pressure existent in the 3rd and 4th dorsal and 3rd cervical. If these would be corrected regularly, with a stimulation of activities through the lumbar and sacral areas at the same time, ye should - with these general changes - bring better conditions for this body.
-
Do these and also here with this body, take each day at least three ounces, preferably when ready to retire, of white wine.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Would you suggest where to go for a change in climate? (A) Wherever there can be found the companionship and where the body can be out of doors most of the time. At this particular season of the year, the west coast of Florida.
-
(Q) Am I allergic to vegetation or foods? (A) This is not so much an allergy as it is the result of pressures in the dorsal and cervical areas, causing an overactivity of the olfactory nerves through the soft tissue of face and head. Make these corrections, and especially where the body can stay in the open and take walks, with congenial companionship, and we will in a few months correct these conditions. Do have those adjustments also, however.
-
(Q) Any other advice? (A) Keep the mental attitude good. Be good for something, as well as just being good.
-
We are through with this reading.

I followed your advice as to Osteopathic treatments and was greatly benefitted.
A month ago I began treatments with Dr. A. T. Abolt of this city. She is deeply interested in Psychic Research and I am anxious for her to know more about your work.
I would like to submit the following questions.
Have I any indications of cancer or any other growth, tuberculosis, heart trouble, hernia, or gland trouble? Can you see any improvement in the dorsal or cervical areas?
Hoping to hear from you at an early date.

Mrs. [3613]
…, North Carolina
Dear Mrs. [3613]
I am very sorry that we were unable to get information for you this morning. Whether it is because we haven’t your given name, or some other reason, I do not know, but we are trying this again for you on the morning of January 28, from 10:30 to 11:30. Be sure to let us hear from you before that time so that we will have the given name, just where you will be at the hour, and PLEASE make a list of questions you would like to have asked at the time of the reading.
Hoping that we will get this for you at this time, and that we will be of a real service, I am,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce
B4. 1/17/44 [3613]‘s letter: I am anxious, above all, to know the cause of my illness which began Nov. 1926.
All Drs. agree that I have no organic trouble, and am in splendid condition considering my age. However, the attacks continue.
Would like to have the following questions answered.
What causes my frequent illness? If you locate trouble please prescribe remedy. If remedy is unusual please, tell where it can be found. Will a change of climate be helpful? If so - where shall I find a location that would be beneficial?
Is the trouble located in the throat or lungs? Is there a nerve pressure anywhere in the body? Am I allergic to vegetation or food?
If this reading is a success, I may have other readings.
I am anxious to visit your library, and examine your files.
Is it possible to get reasonable accommodations in Virginia Beach?
I shall await your answers with great interest.
Sincerely, Mrs. [3613]
