This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of June, 1944, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [1306], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, J. Fitch, Stenos.]

Time of Reading 3:30 and 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Ky.

  1. GC: You will go over this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

  3. As we find, there is under the circumstances naturally a great deal of anxiety. Don’t let the overanxiety cause too much to be done, or attempted to be done, for the body.

  4. The administrations which are being made as the corrective measures in the osteopathic manner are very well done. If there are the precautions as to diet, as to the applications to keep down cold, the body should respond; though don’t so keep the body covered or out of fresh air as to cause to give it more cold or coughs.

  5. Do use the poultice as indicated to break the lung cold. The indications as we find in the shadowgraph are malaria and not spots in the lung, see? There should be kept a good antiseptic as a cleansing for the alimentary canal, from the naturalness of the increase of the eliminations, and increase or supplement the B-Complex as body-building forces. Thus we should have bettered conditions for this body.

  6. Do that.

  7. Ready for questions.

  8. (Q) What causes the attacks of asthma? (A) As has been indicated, a condition in the trachea and bronchi from pressures in the brachial center. This has been given. These are being corrected. Don’t get overanxious and do other things or that which will hinder what is being done by the osteopath.

  9. (Q) What is causing the temperature? (A) Read just what has been given. Malaria in the blood stream.

  10. (Q) What causes raw condition of mouth and tongue? (A) Just what has been given. Do keep an intestinal antiseptic or the wash as may be had from the Glyco-Thymoline. Don’t mix this with other things but this kept is an alkaline. Those that carry nitrate of silver or acids are more harmful than helpful in the present conditions. Rinse the mouth with this in the water and we will have better conditions.

  11. (Q) What foods should be avoided? (A) Too much of any kind of sweets are not good for the body in the present condition, nor fruits in the present are good. Those which are alkaline-producing are the better.

  12. (Q) What causes urine to look milky at times? (A) The temperature in the body. These are not an effect of kidneys but needs to be alkalized and keep that as has been indicated.

  13. (Q) What kind of poultice? (A) Onion poultice on the front and the clays on the back, see?

  14. We are through with this reading.
