-
GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we may bring help for this body, we may bring better quietude within. As to just how far these helpful forces may be obtained, much will depend upon the faith or the prayerful attitude of those about the body and those making administrations for the body.
-
These conditions are partially karmic, they are also pathological from conditions existent as pressures from the manner of presentation at birth.
-
For this body we would use for thirty minutes each day the low Wet Cell Appliance carrying Gold vibratorially to the central nervous system.
-
The large nickel plate, through which the Gold Solution passes vibratorially (in the proportions of one grain of Chloride of Gold Sodium to each ounce of distilled water) would be attached to the umbilical and the lacteal duct center - which on this particular body, would be the width of two fingers (if the mother is measuring) from the navel center directly to the right and one finger up from that point.
-
The other plate, which would be of copper and at least the size of a dollar, or a little larger, would be attached at the 9th dorsal plexus.
-
Change the Gold Solution every thirty days. Do keep the attachment plates clean. Disconnect from the Solution when not in use. Do take the lead wire out of the Solution when not in use. Do keep it clean. Do put together all of it about twenty minutes before being attached to the body, so as to keep the charge.
-
When not in use, keep the wires where the sunlight will shine on them.
-
Each day following the use of the Appliance, give the body a thorough massage - taking at least thirty minutes to do this. Use cocoa butter, only, for the time being. Massage from the base of the head to the soles of the feet, along the back portion of the body. This should include the spinal column, as well as each side of same. Best to go down each side in a rotary motion. Don’t hurry through with it. Do be consistent and do be persistent. Also massage thoroughly the heels and feet, and especially around the area of the end of the spine.
-
Do make constructive suggestions while these treatments are being applied daily.
-
Whether these treatments will cause complete development of the control through brain reflexes, or partial, will depend - as indicated - on those about the body, and then the persistency with which these will be used.
-
Do keep these up.
-
Then in six months after these have been begun, we would give further suggestions.
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 2/44 Wet Cell Appliance ordered.
R2. 3/13/44 Letter from [3649]‘s father: “We are giving the kid the treatment and he is doing some better, would like to know when we can have a reading on his brother.”
R3. 7/18/44 Letter from [3649]‘s father: “I am writing in regards to the treatments which we have been giving my son [3649]. The 2nd of August will be the six months that we have gave him these treatments that you recommended. Would appreciate if you would give him another reading at your earliest possible time. Thanking you in advance…”
R4. 9/19/44 Letter from Mr. Brooks: ”…Improvement has been slow but noteworthy. The child’s father is in a frantic state of mind, has read your letter concerning the recent sickness of Mr. Cayce… I will certainly appreciate your help in securing the earliest possible reading for [3649] due to the fact that his condition is extremely serious.”
Background
Background
B1. 8/25/43 Letter from father’s friend: “I spoke to you over the phone about emergencies that exist in the matter of the two children here in Athens, Ga… I know that you do not need the detailed medical report in the enclosed letter from the Mayo Clinic but I wanted to impress the need for an early reading if at all possible… I believe their lives depend upon this.”
B2. 6/19/43 Copy of letter from Mayo Clinic to Dr. John A. Simpson: “[3649] and his brother were examined at the Clinic, and at the parents’ request I am sending you the results of our examinations. The most important finding is, naturally, that we could only confirm the previous diagnosis of hypertrophic muscular dystrophy. In the case of [3649] there was an enlarged spleen. I may say that the Mantoux test was negative in both children. [3649] had agglutination tests for Brucella and Eberthella typhoid, which were both negative. The blood smear on [3649] did not show anything diagnostic. Both boys were seen in consultation by a neurologist, who concurred in our diagnosis. Since this was the case, I did not recommend any further investigation, and told the parents that we could not offer anything in the line of treatment. I may say that our results with glycine and alpha tocopherol in such cases have been nil. I recommended that they be kept as happy as possible, and told the parents that the outlook is bad. The father asked about the possibility of a splenectomy, but I did not think that under these circumstances this entered into consideration at all, aside from the fact that we did not find any indication for it, such as familial icterus or thrombocytopenic purpura, nor was there any evidence of liver cirrhosis.”
Sincerely yours, Samual Amberg, /s/; Samuel Ambert, M.D. /t/.
