-
GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes - a new cycle - a strange one!
-
We have the body and those environs, and those conditions surrounding same.
-
In analyzing the conditions here, we find much of this prenatal, yet not that which might be called the sin of the fathers, nor of the entity itself, but rather that through which patience and consistence might be the lesson for the entity in this experience.
-
So, don’t become pessimistic because of those conditions arising that outwardly appear to be causing the body to become a “shut in” without the use of other than the mind. But remember, mind is the builder.
-
And who healeth thy diseases? From what source cometh love, mercy and grace? Know that He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
-
Though the body may become as though it were useless in the ability for movements, we would put more faith, more hope, more trust in Him.
-
And then begin with the use of the electrically driven vibrator along the spine, daily. Follow this with a massage along the spine and over the limbs, using cocoa butter.
-
Take at least an hour each day to do this.
-
Add to the system each day a level teaspoonful of KalDak, first dissolved in a little hot water and then the glass filled with raw milk.
-
When these instructions have been followed for ninety days, we would give further advice.
-
Don’t look to material things - look for the spiritual. Plan what you will do for others, and what you will do with the healing grace that may be manifested in the body-forces through the power within and the prayer to the Christ within self.
-
We are through with this reading.

R1. 2/24/44 [3681]‘s letter: ”…To say merely ‘thank you’ for the physical reading is so inadequate. When I am able to work I shall repay you. I want to tell you my reactions. I don’t quite understand why our patience and consistency should be tried - even planned before birth, but should I even question this? I feel like there is a great chance before me if only I can find the way. Concerning the treatment - the use of the vibrator followed by an hours massage - that is like coming up against a stone wall. Let me tell you why. This no doubt will be a rather boring schedule to read, but I must explain and perhaps you can help me see my way.
“My father gets up at 6:30 or before - tends the furnace, etc. At 7:00 he helps my sister. He cannot leave her while she dresses, walks, combs her hair, etc., as her balance is so poor. He then helps me up - has his breakfast and has to be at work at 8:00. Then I stay on my feet until noon as I cannot get up without him. He is home 45 min. and you can imagine how busy he is then. I sit down about 1:30 and can’t get up until he gets home at 6:30. After supper he has a busy time helping my sister again and he is so very tired that he goes to bed at 8:00 P.M. Mother wouldn’t have the strength for massage as she is so poorly and has so much to do. I haven’t dared tell them about you - they don’t have faith in anything helping us. They don’t know that this is a gift from God. Even my sister tries to discourage me. She says ‘you know it is impossible to have massage’ and she laughed about the KalDak you recommended. Please tell me that was not decided upon before the reading, was it? I trust you so - and it is so hard when others doubt. My doctor is wonderful, but he is so busy and I can’t ask him to come every day. I will have no chance to tell him until I can get out in May. Do you suppose the vibrator would help without massage, along with the KalDak? I wonder if the vibrator could be used when I would be standing on my feet? At one time I took Aminoascitic and along with massage (I was working then and away from home) but it did no good. My sister thought perhaps KalDak was just another Amino acid. Is that right?
“I realize the spiritual side has much to do with this and I assure you my entire desire to be well is to be able to help my folks and others. This letter sounds like I had lost faith - it isn’t that exactly - although others’ doubts are hard on faith - but I can’t see my way through now. If I had money we could spend on things, no doubt it would work out well. I am speaking of the massage. I can get by with the KalDak. Was your impression of this reading an optimistic one? I mean, do you truthfully think I will get better? It is grand to be able to write you this way. May I hear from you soon?…”
R2. 3/27/44 [3681]‘s letter: ”…I feel that this first treatment is only to build up the body that is the KalDak part and the massage and electrical vibrator would make the muscles pliable. No doubt the next treatment given after 90 days would be different. I am so desperately sorry I cannot do this exactly as suggested…”
R3. 4/1/44 EC’s ltr. to [3681]: ”…And I note what you have to say about your reading and about how discouraged you have become about getting the suggestions carried out… Would it be possible for you to be away for a while and go to some other place, if all the expenses were taken care of for your treatments?…”
R4. 4/15/44 [3681]‘s letter: ”…Since receiving your last letter I have been overwhelmed with gratitude to you. To think that a stranger could be so kind to me when people I have known all my life wouldn’t dream of doing what you have offered. As yet I have found no solution. Just as soon as I can get out of the house - which will be in 2 or 3 weeks - I will talk to a doctor here in town. If the expense of the treatments could be taken care of it is possible I might be able to get someone - a doctor or nurse - to do it… I have an aunt who has an electric vibrator I could use. She lives and works in another city or she could help me. Yet understand she would not be able to have me with her as she is alone and could not possibly help me up… I should feel terrible though if you have offered this and are really not financially able… I was terribly sorry to hear of your recent illness. When someone has been as good to a person as you have to me - well, you just seem like a friend and I have been concerned about you…”
R5. 4/22/44 EC’s ltr. to [3681]: ”…I can’t tell you why we are particularly interested in your case, but if you are able to get a doctor or a nurse, you let them write me and make the arrangements about treatments. Don’t you worry yourself about that, you just occupy your mind in reading the Good Book, especially certain portions that I would like to outline for you…”
R6. 6/3/44 [3681]‘s letter: ”…I still have nothing definite to tell you but at least I can tell you I am trying to make some arrangements. Only last week I was able to talk to my doctor and give him to read all the material I had regarding your work. This week I talked to him again and he said he had been too busy to complete reading the material, but as far as he had gone he was very much impressed. I have not told him of all my correspondence to you. I have confided in you as I could no one else - but I did tell him of your kindness and apparent eagerness to help. I do not know if he will administer the treatments - even with the expenses taken care of by you. He is extremely busy and I am afraid he will feel unable to take the time. However, I have not given up…
“I seem to be writing more about the power of man than the spiritual side. I fall so far short of being what I should be. I get angry - I get discouraged - I don’t know what to believe. I am decidedly not trying to test God by this means
- but I often wonder if miracles still happen. I do want you to outline certain portions of the Bible for me. I am reading through the New Testament but no doubt an outline would be more helpful…
“I want to ask you this again - When you were giving the reading for me did you have a clear impression or a vague one? It all seems like such a mystery to me. I seem to want to probe deeper. Have you read The Mind of Mischief? I have forgotten the author’s name, but what he wrote in the last chapter interested me greatly and I wondered if he were referring to your wonderful works…”

B1. 10/9/43 ”…Perhaps it was a miracle that a sample copy of the September issue of Coronet should be sent to me. I believe in miracles through God and I believe in you. First of all I want you to know I haven’t money to spare for a reading as both my sister and myself are entirely dependent on our father and he is quitting farming because of his health. But somehow I feel you will help us out regardless of this. My sister is 37 and I am 34. Ever since we were 13 yrs. old we have been handicapped with Progressive Muscular Dystrophy. We can still walk with help. Doctors say there is no help for us and they don’t know the reason why we should have developed it. Won’t you please ask the cause for it and find out if there is a cure or help and where it can be had? There isn’t words to tell you how eternally grateful we would be…”
B2. 2/44 ”…Why should my sister and I have the same disease? Why did it affect us first when we were about 13 yrs. old? What caused the muscles to start to atrophy then? Why should it be progressive? What was the cause of the disease? From whom did we inherit the weakness? What caused it? What was lacking in the person from whom we inherited it? Doctors say it is incurable - is that true? If not, what can we do to become well? Where should we go for help? When my father is gone there will be no one to help us. Isn’t there something that would improve our condition so we can at least help ourselves? I am praying that God will answer through you and that this reading will be a real enlightenment for research workers and that many, many profit by it…”
