This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 10th day of September, 1936, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [369], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:20 to 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [369]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, while conditions have not adjusted themselves fully, there are those indications that - if there is the continuation of those applications in the manner as has been suggested - corrections and changes will be made that are in keeping with the physical forces for corrections and for keeping the physical functioning of the organs in their proper course.

3. There should be, in the compounding of those properties, the combinations given - and their arrangements or prepared in the order as given, rather than putting portions of them first that are given last.

4. These are the only changes as we find we would make in the present.

5. (Q) Should the prescription be refilled? (A) Should be refilled.

6. (Q) Taken once and then start on the Appliance again? (A) Taking the full course, not taking just one time but taking the whole course and then start with the Appliance.

7. (Q) Is the Appliance being used at it should? (A) The Appliance is being used properly; only the anodes should be kept very clean. For with the contacts in the body they make for the tendency for the film to cover same.

8. (Q) Should the flooding still be expected? (A) It’s all the better that it doesn’t, if it makes for the corrections or the flow to become near normal.

9. (Q) Should the whole course just be repeated once? (A) Well, repeat it once and then if it’s necessary we will repeat it again!

This should not need to be repeated again, but there should be - with these changes, of course - those exercisings of the emotions with the body that produce for the activity through the functioning organs.

10. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Do these, as we find - these bring for the physical forces the proper and the normal reactions.

R1. 10/6/36 She asked for extracts from the readings on appendicitis for her friend, Miss [1922], saying she dreamed that she should ask for it: ”…I am decidedly better, but weak from the tonic…”

R2. 4/21/46 Mr. A. M. Godfrey reported that he had sent a new wire for Miss [369]‘s Radio-Active Appliance, as the old one had broken off at the attachment, and she wished to start using the Appliance again.

R3. 11/17/46 ”…I am in bed today with another cold. I had been feeling better than I’d felt all fall, too. Am so discouraged and I don’t know what to do. I do everything I know. I can’t keep on like this, though, having colds so often, and there seems nothing I can do…”

R4. 12/9/46 ”…I plan to go to Charlottesville during Christmas vacation and see if anything can be found out about these colds…”

R6. 8/10/49 Reported to GD: Dr. Nichols, [Richard B. Nicholls, M.D.?] gynecologist in Norfolk examined her and said her uterus should be removed - the sooner the better - very much enlarged - she understood he was warning her of cancer - wanted to get x-rays right away.

R7. 8/19/49 [369] phoned: “After reading I DIE DAILY by Lorna Doone Burke, which I had loaned her, she decided to get another diagnosis without telling the doctor of the previous examination. She went to Dr. Savage [?] [could she have meant William P. Sellers, M.D.?] in Norfolk and he said she had a very small cervix, and a few cysts at the mouth of the uterus; he felt she should have a curettement. When she asked, ‘You mean I don’t have to have my uterus removed?’ he laughed at the very idea. She didn’t tell him of Dr. Nicholls’ examination. He said if it would make her feel better they could have a test made when the cysts are removed, to determine whether there is a malignancy.”

R8. 7/29/50 She reported that she had used the compound in reading 636-1 for graying hair and found it helpful, also the Radio-Active Appliance had helped her insomnia.
