This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of March, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3696], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by the article in Coronet.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. (Notes read to and transcribed by Jeanette Fitch.) Harmon Bro.]

Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, N.Y.

  1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the conditions here that have caused the greater disturbance and inconvenience. We find that these are from rather a combination of sources.

  3. First we find that there has been an accident to the body-structure where nerves and tendons for the arm have caused a subluxation in the areas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd and even 4th dorsal area. Also the circulation to the organs of the sensory system has been slowed.

  4. With the lack of sufficient amounts of calcium indicated in the assimilated force of the body, and the lack of proper stimulation, we find that the teeth and gums suffer from this combination of disturbances.

  5. Hence the whole nervous system indicates this natural reaction, as does the pulsation and the activity of the heart itself; though these are sympathetic in their nature.

  6. We find that first there should be corrections osteopathically of the conditions in the upper dorsal area, also stimulating the secondary reactions to the organs of the head and neck. Thus we will find that all of the organs of the sensory system will be stimulated to nearer normal reaction.

  7. We would have these osteopathic corrections made by Coulter.

  8. It will be necessary to supply more calcium either in foods or in supplementary ways, to aid quicker with the osteopathic corrections.

  9. Also it would be necessary for local applications for gums and for conditions regarding the exposed nerves.

  10. The receding gums and those tendencies towards pyorrhea would be allayed by the consistent use of Ipsab as a massage for the teeth and gums. Also these should be treated, some locally, with the dentist’s paraphernalia - the small wads of cotton saturated with the Ipsab and applied in the areas where the conditions are indicated at the base or edge of the gums.

  11. It will also be necessary for some local attention by the dentist where there has been the breaking, or the leakage or the exposure of the nerves of the teeth themselves.

  12. In the supplying of elements for the body increase the amounts of sea foods in the diet, also the raw foods or vegetables. These should include every character of raw vegetables that may be prepared, either with gelatin or in salads at times.

  13. These do and we will make for better conditions of this body, [3696].

  14. Ready for questions.

  15. (Q) Will this prevent the trouble from affecting my ears? (A) As indicated, all of the organs of the sensory system are affected. This treatment will bring corrections for all the organs. For at times not only is the vision affected and the hearing, but the taste and smell. Even the voice at times is affected.

  16. (Q) Did the extraction help cause the trouble? (A) This only made for the condition becoming acute. The sources are a combination of conditions existent as indicated.

  17. We are through with this reading.

Two copies to Self (one for Dr. George N. Coulter, 18 E. 41st St., N.Y.C.) Copy to Ass’n file

(Ipsab is distributed by Mr. A. M. Godfrey, 2709 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va. and sells for one dollar a bottle.)
