This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of October, 1928, in accordance with phone request made by his daughter-in-law, Mrs. [1100].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 3:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Pa. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. These we find very unsatisfactory conditions with the physical forces of the body, and the results are complications that are somewhat troublesome to cope with. The body has not responded to the attempt to bring about the better coordination throughout the system. The complications are the cause of this.

  2. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions as we find them, there will be better results obtained through a combination of conditions or vibrations being brought to the body at this time, than there would through solely the one condition attempting to bring changed conditions in that assimilated, for giving strength and vitality, or the reduction of that continued temperature and weakness as continues to be shown system, as well as to meet the needs wherein there is shown separating of forces in system. Hence other conditions arising in other portions than that which may be reached through possibly any ONE vibratory force (which must be the resuscitating forces - in ANY body, especially in this where such complications are exhibited).

  3. We would, then, add with manipulations - that would be osteopathically given - deep every third treatment, and gently throughout the whole system with some corrections every day, until forces are changed in the body; giving these as properties as would bring about better vibratory forces with that set up by a general treatment: Golden Seal, or Life Everlasting, in the form of added to those of that that is being used as the reduction for temperature and added system reduction of the achey feelings that come from the poor circulation. This would be given in a tea that would be added to the water, as of one to twenty - that is, to one ounce of saturated solution add TWENTY OUNCES of water, or one drop to twenty drops of water, see? This added TO that being used in medicinal properties for the reduction of temperature and for the enlivenment of the excretory system. Also, with all the water that is taken, let it carry a very small quantity of elm. Do not prepare the elm until almost ready to drink, see? Should the assimilations become SO poor that this does not assimilate (which will be found by, or be known by the body belching same and tasting same after an hour or so after the water is taken), then leave off and change to that with Yellow Saffron in the water, which would be one to forty, and this a teaspoonful in glass of water when taken, see? This to be made in the tea, should be one ounce to forty ounces of water - steeped, or if as tea - until there is left fifteen to sixteen ounces of water, see? Then the teaspoonful in the glass of water. These will assist in bringing different conditions and different vibrations for the blood supply, activity of the liver and of the excretory systems - which are necessarily disturbed in the existent conditions. Do that. When these have been carried out for six to ten days, we would give further instructions. We are through for the present.
