GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the causes of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
-
EC: Now, we find there are some abnormal conditions with this body in the physical forces. While we find too the body a very interesting study from the psychological and pathological standpoint. While conditions existent are in opposition in many respects to biological effects from conditions in the physical forces from the pathological viewpoint, still we find the effects of the understanding of the mental forces in the body to be in such a manner as to act with and for the best physical forces of the system. Hence in giving the physical conditions, while we find these will be and are being brought as near to their equilibrium of functioning as could be through the suggestive forces as received and accepted through the physical body, yet conditions may be added to these in a physical way that will assist the body in gaining the better coordination of all of muscular tissue, of nerve traction, abstraction and detraction throughout the system, producing then the perfect equilibrium and coordination between cerebro-spinal and sympathetic nerve system, as in relation to sensory organism and of the sympathetics with same. These conditions then as we find, these are of the nature produced by outside influences, bringing to bear pressure on functioning system, destroying tissue in manner and in way that seemingly through the biological natural effect would be impossible to have builded or to have brought into effect, save in one understanding the effect of the psychological conditions produced in body by the mental equilibrium gained through knowledge of self and of the forces to create within self those cellular forces necessary to meet the conditions in the body.
-
Then, where we have these abrasions as is shown in the high hepatic and capillary circulation, these are as the excess of over stimulation to the physical forces and need that incentive as the system would receive by taking the gentle manipulation as would be given through the osteopathic forces, as would be correctly applied, using with same those rays in Alpine or ultra violent forces that will clarify the blood forces in the exterior or in the capillary circulation, producing the more perfect eliminations, from physical standpoint, producing the better assimilations and giving the warriors in the blood stream the better incentives to carry out their functioning, as is set in motion by the mental and will forces of the individual itself. Not that the conditions, the expressions as are given to the vital forces of body through self, or through the application of those conditions as have been applied in body should be mitigated or left off; rather that these should be added, that we may bring the more perfect coordination in and through this body.
-
Do that.

R1. 5/7/25 EC, immediately following the above, gave the Physical Reading for his wife, Mrs. [3732].
R2. 5/7/25 EC’s letter:
Dear Mr. [3733]:
Your wire was received, and as you will see from the enclosed the readings were gotten this morning. I’m sure from the reading as given for yourself especially there’s no need of my making any comment on same, but I myself do not understand the conditions as referred to in the reading. Perhaps you will. I should appreciate, however, your writing me very frankly and fully regarding just your impressions as you gain from these.
Hoping and trusting that I have been of some service to you and your wife, and that I may have the pleasure of meeting you sometime in the very near future, I am, with kindest personal regards,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD

Dear Sir:
I wish to acknowledge receipt of your letter of May 7th also of the psychic reading for Mrs. [3732] and myself. I note in reference to Mrs. [3732] reading that although the time previously mentioned on the card signed was for 2 P.M. the reading took place at 11.30 A.M.
In reference to my reading, I note that you did not make any comment for the reason that you yourself did not understand the reading, and thought that I may.
As you request me to write you frankly, I will say that I do not understand it at all myself.
Thanking you however for the trouble you went into to give me this psychic reading, I wish to remain,
Very truly yours, [3733]

Mr. Edgar Cayce, 322 Grafton Ave., Dayton, Ohio
My dear Mr. Cayce:
A good friend of ours David E. Kahn talked to me so much about you that I have become extremely interested indeed in yourself and in your gifted mind. I wish you were in New York so that I may have had the privilege of seeing you and I do hope however to have this privilege some time, either when you get a chance to come to New York and possibly when I get a chance to go to Dayton.
Mr. Kahn however assured me that if I was to write to you, you would be able to inform me about my condition and give me a suggestion. It seems too uncanny to believe it possible, however at his suggestions I am writing to you for that purpose.
I certainly do not feel quite well and I wonder if you can tell me what is the matter with me and at the same time what you suggest as a treatment or cure.
On the same occasion if it is not asking too much of you, a very good friend of ours is at the present time ill and intends undergoing an operation and for that purpose is at the present time at the Fifth Avenue Hospital, New York, her name is […]. Is it possible for you to also tell me what is the matter with her and a suggestion.
I understand that you do not make a charge for your service and suggestions, however, I feel I am putting you to considerable trouble in this matter and wishing to defray the expenses which you will be under, I am asking you to please very candidly let me know if you will accept if I send you a check in payment of at least the expenses I am putting you under. I certainly will appreciate very much of having the opportunity of helping you in your good work. I am,
Sincerely [3733]

Dear Judge:
Just a brief note today to acknowledge reading and thank your for same and tell you that I am again on my feet and in the office.
I am now taking your advice and taking things much easier than I have been and will continue to do so for a few weeks anyway.
Yesterday, while looking for an apartment in the next building to us, I ran into a very fine man, [3733], who had a very serious accident eighteen months ago, having broken practically every bone in his body. Nature, without the aid of Doctors, has brought him back to life. He was very anxious to have a reading on himself but due to the fact that he told me so much about it, he hesitated in having it on himself, but there is a member of their family who is very ill or has been complaining. I did not ask for the details.
Mr. [3733] is writing you today for a reading. He is very anxious to have you come to New York. He has a beautiful country home, a city home and a … estate, and should this one reading be anything like I say and you know how I feel, you will hear further from him, I am certain.
He is the man who closed the $17,000,000 deal with the … government on war supplies just recently and he is your type of man, so I would suggest that you give him an immediate date on this reading, and I feel that it is the next step in connection with Morton. I will introduce Morton to him very shortly.
With kindest regards and please pardon the haste of this note as I will write you in detail tonight. With kindest regards to you and the Madam, believe me, as always
Sincerely [signed] David E. Kahn DEK BBS
B3. 4/28/25 EC’s letter to [3733]:
Dear Sir:-
Yours of April the 24th received. I’m glad to know that you have met my good friend, Mr. David E. Kahn. Also to know that he had talked to you regarding the work attributed to me in a manner that was at least interesting to you. I, too, would like very much to meet you and talk with you in person regarding the phenomena, since you seem to be really interested in phenomena of this character. I would like to assure you that I believe I appreciate the impression anyone must give to a body when they first talk to one regarding things that have been accredited me, through the exercising of the phenomena as is apparently exhibited through me while in the subconscious state.
I shall be very glad to make the appointment for yourself and for your friend, and to see what I may be able to give for the existent conditions. As you will see from the enclosed cards, these days are set for May the 2nd. Yours is set for 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Mrs. […]‘s is at 3:00 P.M. For your own you may wire me and return card as soon as convenient. For Mrs. […]‘s, it will be necessary that she sign same herself, for we do not give a reading for anyone unless the request comes from the individual directly, or from someone responsible for the moral and physical welfare of the individual.
I’m certainly in hopes that you will have an opportunity to visit Dayton sometime in the very near future. I would be very glad to talk with you concerning the phenomena and to show you the data and information we have gathered concerning same.
As regards the remuneration, we do not make a charge for the services or the suggestions. However, the support of the work depends upon the goodness of the individuals whom we try to be of assistance to, and any contribution you may desire to make towards the up-keep of same will be gratefully received.
Trusting that I may be of service to yourself and to your friend, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD

Mr. Edgar Cayce, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio
Dear Sir:-
I am in receipt of your letter of April 28th and in accordance with the suggestion made, I am returning to you the card made for myself, properly signed and not being able to reach […] for the purpose of having her sign the card, I have substituted Mrs. [3732] (my wife’s name) and had her sign it, so that the reading requested, will be for Mrs. [3732] instead of […]. I will again avail myself of the opportunity in reference to […] when I will be able to reach her.
Not knowing what the amount should be, I am enclosing herewith check for $5.00 and I will say, that I will be glad indeed to increase it more generously if it happens that this first experience shows to me some interesting facts.
I am a believer in Psychic Phenomena, and all I want to know is whether or not you are as Mr. Kahn mentioned, favored with this power.
Awaiting therefore to hear from you and assuring you if the answers received are interesting, I will do my utmost thru my friends to be helpful to your good cause and at the same time to send, upon receipt of the information requested, an additional substantial monetary contribution for your worthy cause.
Sincerely yours, [3733]
B5. 5/4/25 EC’s letter to [3733]:
My dear Mr. [3733]:
I have yours of May 1st, but I’m very sorry to say this did not reach me until after the hours appointed for the readings. In consequence thereof, I am having to set the time ahead, as it is very necessary that the individual on whom we are reading be at the given place on the day and hour as set for reading. We are changing this date to Thursday, April [May] 7th, 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time for yourself and 2:00 P.M. for your wife. Please wire me upon receipt of this letter if these appointments will be satisfactory, that I may know whether or not to undertake this, and that each of you will be at the address which you have given on your card at this hour and day.
I’m sorry indeed of this delay but under the circumstances it’s unavoidable.
I thank you for your interest in the phenomena and for the contribution thus far towards this work. I trust that we may be of sufficient service to merit your investigation of same and your contribution towards the work of same.
Thanking you and trusting to hear, and to be of assistance, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
B6. 5/6/25 He wired verifying both appointments.
