GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with special reference to the trouble with the right foot and leg, giving the relief for same, and suggestions for the further improvement of this body.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. Now, we find there are many general improvements in this body; a bettered circulation in many ways and manners, a better condition through the digestive system and the mesenteric system; yet there is much weakness in the body, or the weakness prevails over the general stability, or the condition of the body is such that any condition, mental or physical, soon takes away the resistance in the physical forces of the body.
-
The condition as exists in the lower limbs, especially in the right leg and foot, is, as we see, greatly produced by that of the calculous places as formed on feet from improper shoes, and from irritation, and the system, attempting to meet or overcome this condition, turns too much of the cuticle into irritation resisting forces in the body, or callouses, or burns, or corns, as may be termed, see?
-
Now, to bring the better conditions for the body, the diet and those properties as have been given for the mesenteric system, for the circulation, for the equalizing of circulation, in battery forms, etc., should be kept in the body.
-
For that condition as is seen in the limbs and in the feet, we would use as this:
-
Bathe the limb from knee down with warm olive oil. Then apply the saturated solution of spirits of camphor, with bicarbonate of soda. Even spread it on, as a very thin layer, see? bandaging this with a thin cloth (not so that the air is excluded entirely - thin cloth) about the limb and foot, see? Let this remain over the evening, or night, see? Then bathe off in tepid water, and rubbing with this olive oil again the next morning, see? Then, in the evening, bathe in tepid water, massage the olive oil in and apply again the solution of camphor and cooking or bicarbonate of soda. We find this will bring the better condition, better circulation, remove the callouses, and give ease. Of course, do not confine the feet in heavy, or in any shoes or slippers that hurt or pinch the feet in any way or manner. This will relieve the condition. Do that.
Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 4/13/26 Husband Mr. [304]‘s letter: “The last diagnosis is absolutely correct and exactly her condition.”
R2. 4/19/26 “She is better than for some time in my opinion; freer from pain; not strong but better, and gets along fine when she is prudent and abides by instructions in treatment.”
R3. 4/23/26 Husband’s letter: “[3776] is getting along very well and has complained of her feet and the trembling or jerking as she calls it very little since beginning the last treatment, or the bathing of the feet and limb. I haven’t heard her complain of that at all since beginning the last treatment. She is weak and doesn’t get about like she once did, but I think doing very well. As you know she is not one who ever says she feels good, or I am better, but will always begin to enumerate the pains and bad feelings. She has good appetite and keeps up all day except in the afternoon when I fix her battery, she usually rests and sleeps for one to 2 hours every afternoon… I think the most of her little set backs are due to eating, usually something she should not eat, but she is a great deal more prudent and watchful along that line now than ever before in her life.”
R4. 5/2/26 Daughter Miss [243]‘s wire: “Give Mother reading today. Not so well. See right limb.”
R5. 5/3/26 See 3776-14.
