- EC: We have here a condition in the business affairs of the Cayce Petroleum Co., Cleburne, Texas, that we necessarily have to meet and is on the minds of those interested at this time. The conditions to meet are these: that the amount necessary for the increased rentals due and as collateral for the obligation of certain things to be done; the mind of those interested will be relieved you see. The beginning of the operations that we have here in this field, that is the middle field, are there. The good faith in all is good. We would overcome these by this condition. Send this wire: “Sufficient amount by Monday to cover leases. Sufficient for all immediate purposes by the 29th.” Cayce.
