THE STATE OF TEXAS, COUNTY OF JOHNSON M. P. Allard, Notary Public, Johnson County Personally appeared before me, this 22nd day of January, 1921, Mr. Joseph B. Long, known to me, who says:
This is to certify that I have known Mr. Edgar Cayce for the past three years, and have witnessed some of his readings in connection with business matters, and I consider him possessed with wonderful powers which are not easily understood.
I witnessed a reading he gave on the Lucky Boy Oil Company’s property situated near Desdemona, Texas, and said reading was, in all things, correct. Mr. Cayce, at the time, had not seen this property and had no personal knowledge of its affairs.
Mr. Cayce has also given me readings on some business matters which have proven absolutely true and which were helpful to me in a very material way in my business pursuits. I consider Mr. Cayce a most wonderful man possessed of marvelous powers. He is also a conscientious, christian gentleman, and to my certain knowledge has refrained from using his powers for exhibition purposes, to my certain knowledge having received from various sources attractive inducements so to do.
Witness my hand this the 22nd day of January, 1921.
