To Whom It May Concern:
This is to certify that I obtained the assistance of Edgar Cayce in the development of the well I drilled on the J. I. Sturkie farm in the Asa Hoxey [… (?)], Comanche Co., Tex.
I have had 34 years experience in the oil business, having followed same from Pennsylvania & West Virginia to Texas; where I have been operating for the last three years; have made a study of the oil business from a structural standpoint in all fields in which I have been interested, have a system for locating oil which is far superior to systems followed by most oil men; yet I believe Mr. Cayce can beat any system going, in locating oil; and he also tells one where they will find the water stratas which is very valuable information in setting casing and especially on wildcat wells:
The best geologists in the country can not approach Mr. Cayce when it comes to giving advanced information on oil territory; Mr. Cayce told me conditions concerning my well, by wire which were proved afterwards by the drill:
I consider Mr. Cayce a real wonder and any one very fortunate who can secure his advance dope on drilling wells.
