This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of April, 1934, in accordance with request made by Miss [275], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mildred Davis, L. B. and Hugh Lynn Cayce.]

Time of Reading … Ave., 11:25 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.Y.

  1. GC: If it is in accord with Divine Will, we and the [378] family seek that the soul of this channel be directed to, and communicate with, the soul of [378] to continue to reason and counsel with him that God is the only way out, and that he may become aware that God is all in his present condition. And whatever information we or the [378] family should have, you will give it.

  2. EC: Yes. Seeking - seeking - still those turmoils beset thee! Listen to those promptings that have come into thine experience! Make known in manifested material ways that thou wilt harken to those things that have come into thine experience. Thou wilt then bring forth those things worthy of the faith thou hast shown in Him, that His ways will be thy ways, His will will be thy will. Let the promptings not only from that of the material guide thee, but that His way will be done in thee, by thee, that there may be not only the quieting of the fears of those that wait - and watch - and pray with thee, but that there may be shown the greater purposes in thy activities that thou hast acceded unto the calls that have come, do come again and again, in that thou shouldst come and make the paths more in accord with that He would have thee do in this experience. Let His ways be thy ways. Let the promptings of thine consciousness be those things that may bring greater joy in the hearts and minds and souls of thy loved ones, those that have depended and do depend upon thine counsel, thine advice, in the material and in the mental experiences of all. Let these be more joyous in the service that they also would render. Let them serve also, even as thou hast and may serve in thine going about in acknowledging His way with thee. Let that word that has come to thee find lodgement and make thyself more purposeful in that thou wilt NOW accede to, accept, and reject not, those promptings; for there needs be much thou mayest do in thine own way that will bring to many those understandings that God’s ways are best. Men may call the words of the lowly Nazarene impractical, impossible even in the experience of men, but thou - in thy weakness - be strong in His might and in those promises that He has given to those that would seek to know what He would have them do in every experience, in every activity, of their hands, their mind, their body.

  3. Come, let thine purposes be known - and may they be in accord with those things that will bring to those that wait and watch, those that have called on Him - through those very acts of thine self - greater glory in the promises of the Christ Life.

  4. Come, come - join in that way that will bring happiness and joy, not sorrow, in the lives of others. Others; not for self, nor for the indignities that ye feel have been pointed at thee. Think it not weak to accede to the Lord’s ways, for He will be gracious unto thee, wilt ye be merciful unto those that have the right in the material things to look to thee for strength and for power in His name. In His name alone do we seek.

  5. For those that would know; there must come shortly those knowledges of those things that have come in the experience of this soul.

  6. We are through.
