-
EC: Let that mind be in thee that will keep those things thou hast purposed in thine heart. For, the light of His love will sustain thee.
-
Know thy Redeemer liveth, and He will walk with thee wilt thou but put thy trust in Him and WILL in thine self to keep His ways.
-
Though the shadows be dark without, thou may light the way for those that seek to know Him as thou hast known Him.
-
Keep that thou hast had delivered unto thee, in making thy will one with His will. Though the shadows of doubt and fear assail thee, in Him is strength and light. In Him is the way, for He is the way, the truth and the light. Be not afraid.
-
In the light of divine guidance, put thy trust in the light of His will. Let Him have His way with thee.
-
The body of thine self keep inviolate. Know whereunto thou hast been called in Him.
-
For, His ways may be thy ways, His love may be thy love; and it will bring peace, harmony and the understanding that thou art chosen in Him.
-
Let thy mercy be such that will bring His mercies unto thee, for if ye will show mercy unto thy loved ones - if ye will show mercy unto those that would despitefully use thee - HE will be merciful unto thee.
-
In His arm is strength. Have that strength in Him to WILL that He be thy guide.
-
We are through.

R1. 5/8/34 EC’s letter to [378]‘s daughter, Miss [275]:
Dear [275]:
“The minds and hearts of you all, I know, have been so full the last few weeks that you would not have cared for the ordinary correspondence; yet I have felt tempted several times to write - but each time I’ve felt so full that it was practically impossible to try and put into words what I wanted to say. I can’t tell you how much I have appreciated, from the personal angle, the faith and confidence that every one of you have put in me, even in asking me to try and be of a help at this time. That I have given myself wholeheartedly and freely is true, yet I realize I am so weak and unworthy to even be a channel for such that might be of help to you all at this time. But I have been willing and anxious to try. Then to know from your mother that my efforts have possibly been of some help is indeed gratifying, not to any selfish thing within myself I hope - but to that better self, if I have one. I’m sure it has done each of us here as much good to try and be of help, and yet we often feel like it is so little and we can understand so little about it all. We want to see MATERIAL manifestations, and forget that the spirit worketh in a way that our physical consciousness cannot see or comprehend. And it is best, I am sure, that it is so. For, so often do we become so self-satisfied, if the cravings of our hearts and desires are granted us literally, for we attribute the power to ourselves rather than to the source from which it comes.
“You have been able to get some very wonderful messages I’m sure, as also the rest. To all of you it has been a real test period, but may His love and loving arms sustain you at this time is the prayer of one who thinks of each of you as his very own - in the love of the Christ.
“You may be very sure we will try as best we can, in our feeble way. And may He give strength and a new meaning to each and every message that may be delivered to Mr. [378]. And may it come to mean more and more in the minds and hearts of you all.
“Let us hear from you at every opportunity. I know you have spoken so beautifully of how you looked forward to a message now and then from the Beach. I can realize now how much more this must be magnified at this time. May God grant that we may be of some help to you at all times.
“With love from every one here, I am”
