This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Virginia, this 11th day of May, 1934, in accordance with request made by Mrs. [255], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mildred Davis, L. B. and Hugh Lynn Cayce.]
Time of Reading … Ave., 11:05 to 11:10 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.Y. (Same Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes.
-
More and more do you find the desire in self to make self and self’s own activities known to those that long and earnestly seek to know that thou hast chosen in thine weakness and in thine strength in Him to do.
-
Keep that thou hast gained in self by putting into application that thou knowest to do. For, in all things if there is not the activative force in the will and in the self, then it in manifestation becomes nil.
-
Let the love thou hast seen and known in thine creative forces in thine Maker rule the dictates of thy soul in seeking expression now.
-
In Him is light, hope, strength. Abide thou in Him. As ye look to the heavens and see the glories about thee, give thanks, praise to His holy name, that there may be done in thee and in the experience of those to whom thou hast a duty, an obligation in material things, His will; that they, too, may be strengthened in Him. For, to many the days grow heavy, and those things that make doubts and fears creep in, assail the heart and mind of those that are troubled even with the secular things.
-
But thou mayest come in and give that strength thou art finding in Him.
-
Love His ways. Keep His counsel. If ye would have mercy, show mercy unto thy friends, thine neighbors, thine enemies. If ye would have grace in His sight, give praise to His holy name.
-
We are through.
[HLC expressed wonder at EC’s ability to so express oneness in such a manner that we still do not know whether body is alive or not.]
