This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of June, 1929, in accordance with request made by her son, Mr. [2754].

1. EC: We have the body here. Some conditions with this body are bettered. Some are not so well. In the preparations for the body to bring about greater eliminations, these have not been wholly prepared properly; for, as given, there should have been two quantities - one made with the simple syrup, the other Spirits Frumenti, then the two combined. In the changes this has brought about, we find an EXCESSIVE reaction on account of the manner in which the preparations were put, or combined, and the manner in which these were taken.

2. We would also add to the applications for the betterment of the condition, and to ease the body from the distressing pains as come at times, those of the Radium Appliance - Double X - and use same across the solar plexus center, or 9th and 10th dorsal vertebrae. At least once each day recharge same in the strong light; NOT sunshine, but STRONG light, see? daylight. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Has she got high blood pressure? (A) Not so much high, as the disturbance as is created by the pressure over the system. The general manipulations for the reduction of the pressure as created in system, osteopathically, would materially aid in RELIEVING these depressions as felt in the region of the diaphragm, would they be carried out in a gentle way and manner; NOT that of too deep, but rather preparing the system for better coordination.

4. (Q) What is the condition in the throat of the body, and what should be done? (A) Local applications may be used, or in any form that act as antiseptics for tissue as becomes effected from the system throwing off discharges, that the attempt to produce elimination causes through these, such channels, see? Any antiseptic - ALKALIN the better.

5. (Q) Should the body have the Toris Compound prepared properly and take more of it? (A) Not take more, but take the quantity as outlined, but prepared properly.

6. (Q) Has she followed instructions as outlined? (A) Not as has been given.

7. (Q) What is the condition of the body at present? (A) Some respects some better; in others not so well. There’s a localizing of conditions which should be GENERAL eliminations, see?

8. (Q) How often should the manipulations be given? (A) About three times each week. We are through.

We believe we have a nice surprise for you, Mr. Cayce - of course, you may know that your patient, Mrs. [147] has exchanged her 30 Pad for the Physician's Special 50 model. We are sending along your commission on that exchange. You will remember that Mrs. [147] had her $30 Pad retreated back in 1927, so when she wrote us recently wishing to have the Pad gone over again, we told her frankly that we couldn’t retreat her Pad a second time and suggested that she exchange it for the Physician’s model.

You have probably heard before now that Mrs. [3858] of New York is ordering a $30 Pad - in fact it went off to her the 21st and we feel with her rheumatism and high blood pressure, the Pad together with the suggestions you have given her is all in the world her case requires.

We always enjoy getting in touch with you, Mr. Cayce, and we feel as time goes on and you get your work more established there in the hospital, you will have a better opportunity right along to suggest the Pad and we anticipate some nice work with you in the future.
