This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of February, 1929, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [3892], via Mrs. Louis Moeckel.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3892]. Now, we find there are conditions that need attention and correction as respecting the physical functioning of this body. While these are not of a nature that would be other than specific or localizing in their nature in the apparent action of same, yet the disturbances as are created by such conditions - as is seen - cause deeper reactions than is ordinarily considered.

2. Now the condition of a physical body in its normal or nominal attributes, is to replenish through its digestive and the creative element system - from the vibration as is set in motion by the various functionings of the blood supply, as respecting the organs in their creative element, for its replenishing of the portion of system as is controlled through same, and ALL as a unit - through the action of the plasm cells as make up the lymph condition, the circulation of same.

3. Now, as has been seen, and as is felt by the body from time to time, there have come about undue conditions - as created by the non-elimination of portions in the system as in respect to the development of certain conditions as become apparent in the body. Now, to eliminate same in a NOMINAL manner would be to cause the system to so create that necessary toward eliminations, or to create a nominal balance by over-activity in a portion until the system absorbs and eliminates through the NOMINAL channels those conditions that should be removed from system. Then we set about through the SAME applications of these forces, creating the energy, that of a nominal balance brought about, and a perfect equilibrium may be established in the system through this manner; while those of the operative forces - except where they have reached the stages where it becomes necessary to remove - are detrimental to a system.

4. Now, in this body, we find these may be removed by the absorption and over stimulation in eliminations, that would be better than removing by that of operative forces; for that as is necessary to so deaden the sensory system and the blood supply in its body - and that of the creation of an over-stimulation through the activity even of coagulation as must necessarily set up through such conditions - would be detrimental to the body. While the STIMULATION of LATENT functioning of portions of the system, to supply that necessary to ELIMINATE from the system, is working WITH that of the creative system in the body, and not working AGAINST that of a creative system.

5. Now, to bring these about would be - first there must be sufficient REST of the body to allow the system to be brought under subjugation of conditions sufficient to create this condition in system where the stimulation may take from the system that as is necessary. Through the creating, then, of more active forces of a balance between the various FORMS OF elimination in the system. Then we would create a stimulation to that of the excretory system, especially through the sweat glands. These will be found then in those of the vapor baths, with the assistance of properties in that used as to make a vapor - of one-half a pint of water, use teaspoonful wintergreen. This will open the pores to such an extent that these will assist the lymphatic circulation in bringing the impurities through this portion of body in the manner that stimulates the system. Also keeping the alimentary canal in order, with the conditions as created by same, see? FOLLOWING these - just after such - with the massage that would carry with same lavender, or oil of lavender, with the manipulation - as is such that the stimulation of the lower hepatic circulation is brought intact.

6. After these have been brought about, by at least ten to fifteen such treatments and manipulations, we would then begin with that of an alteration between the ULTRA violet ray AND the Violet Ray. See the difference between the two? in their activity of the stimulation to the system? The Violet Ray being applied over the frontal portion of the body, the ULTRA Violet Ray applied directly to the cerebro-spinal system and its tributaries.

7. Do that. We will find in thirty to sixty days a NORMAL reaction body here, [3892]. Do that. We are through for the present.

My dear Mr. Cayce,

Your report received and am very much pleased with my reading. As you have diagnosed MY BODY is EXACTLY, as I feel no harmony in the functioning of my organs and a prostration of the nervous system. Also the elimination needs correcting as you say.

I have been to many doctors but they have not understood me for I am quite fat and look quite healthy except for deep circles about the eyes. I am coming down to see you as soon as I return from a short trip to Europe. I shall take up your treatment as far as possible & will rest a great deal. Upon my return you will hear from me.

I am sending enclosed application for my sister [2241] who is too ill to apply for herself.
