This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 30th day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [3916], via David E. Kahn.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now, while we find the body very good in many respects, there are those physical conditions existent that may be corrected in such a manner as to bring the better, more normal, results to the functioning of the physical forces of the body. These, as we see, are the results rather of poor elimination as is exercised by the depleted condition in portions of the organism that has to do with the functioning of the emunctories of the system.

3. Now, these are the conditions, then, as we find them in this body, [3916] we are speaking of. First:

IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find abnormal in pressure, produced by the lack of eliminations, that overtaxing as is created in the mesenteric system, and the pressure through the plexus of the hypogastric and pneumogastric forces in the system. That is, the depressions, pains, dullness, to the system, the lack of activity, the stretchy, achy, feeling that comes over the body, especially after rest. The aches in the head, the tendency for shortness of breath, the inability to mount stairs without the shortness of the breath and dizziness. All comes from the unequalized condition in circulation and the effect as is produced on the liver and the digestive system of this portion of the emunctories of the body.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find naturally taxed from this over strain as is produced on the body. In the solar plexus region and the branches of same, those especially that come to the right side of the body, giving the incentives for the functioning through the glands of the digestion and of the mesenteric system, in the right portion of the body, this plexus, we find, relaxed. Hence the condition as is produced on the system by the effect of the toxins as absorbed from same, and tendency toward that of the inability of the system to perform the excretory functioning in a nominal way, the engorging of the ascending and traverse colon and the toxins absorbed from these. Rather of nerve pressure and repression, and recapitulation of the retraction as is produced by the functional action through these portions of the body.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces very good.

7. Functioning of the sensory organism shows the retractions as produced by the relaxed condition in nerve system, through cerebrospinal and through the pressure as is produced on organs of the sensory system. Some becoming accentuated in their action, some below or subnormal in their action.

8. In the lungs, throat, bronchials, larynx, these are very good, save the repression as is put on lungs by the effect of the short breath, or the fullness of the circulation through this portion of the body, with undue exercise.

9. In the digestive system, this we find the seat or the cause of the trouble, for we begun with a condition in times back, first as of dyspepsia. Then of the rising of the gastric juices in the stomach, producing some soreness and lacerations in the pyloric end of the stomach, overtaxing the pancreas, causing the liver in its exercise to secrete abnormal. This brought the depression and repression through the upper intestinal system, causing these distresses throughout, creating then of this overtaxing to liver, being subnormal in its function, we overtax the kidneys. Hence the engorged condition as is shown through these and the effect as is produced in the excretory system of same. The toxins as produced in bladder, the effects and condition in the urine itself, show how the excess of secretions are eliminated from the system through these portions of the body and the effect of same as is produced on the mesenteric portion, or that portion of the false pelvis.

10. Then, to bring the normal conditions, or the better conditions for this body, we would first, through deep manipulation, osteopathically given, with the body thoroughly relaxed before these are applied each time, with heat and water, or that as moist heat, vapor, steam, or such natures, applied to body. Then the adjustments and the manipulation of the whole system, reducing the diet in such a manner that will assist the blood supply in gaining its normal equilibrium. Using principally those of the green vegetable forces and matters as will assist the nerve system and strain the blood forces in their functioning through the lacteal ducts, and assist the body in the reduction of the over amount of strain produced by the absorption of toxins in trunk portions of body. Wearing all times the radium applicator. This should be worn about the body and the pad portion across the solar plexus. Would be necessary to take at least sixteen to twenty of adjustments for this condition.

Replying to yours regarding to whom you might take the reading received for interpretation and treatment, we beg to say we refrain from making these suggestions unless we are asked for same, for we have no special physician we wish to ask to subscribe to our work, but I shall be glad to refer you to Dr. Joseph Ferguson, 18 E. 41st Street, who has seen some of the work, or at least has examined patients that have had readings made. Also to Dr. Eugene R. Krause, 2345 Broadway, or Dr. Berger (the lady osteopath). I don’t remember her telephone number or address, but I’m sure if you will see any of these, they will be able to give you an understanding of this and will assist you to gain better health.

As for the Radium Applicator as referred to, this I believe you can obtain by writing directly to the Radium Applicator Company, Bradbury Building, Los Angeles, California. I certainly am in hopes that this will help you to gain your normal physical health.
