This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 8th day of July, 1930, in accordance with wire request made by his brother via Mr. Edwin D. Blumenthal.

1. EC: Yes, we have those impressions and those conditions as respecting the physical forces, [3946]. In the physical functioning of the body, we find there are specific disturbances. The cause, or the beginning of same, is rather remote as respecting existent forces as are to be dealt with in gaining for the body-physical those of proper relationships or coordinations in the physical functioning of the body.

2. There has existed, as we find, a disturbance in the dorsal region, that - in its activity, through the lesion as formed there - causes for the system those of the repression of nerve energy as related to the locomotion of system, especially through the lower sciatic nerve centers, and through the muscular forces of the lower limbs, as well as to those of the functioning of the organs as related to the eliminations, especially in the hepatic circulation. These distresses bring for the functioning system those of many distresses in the physical forces. These as related to the sensory system, and those as related to the forces in the body as regarding the coordination between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system. The disturbances have for their basic forces, then, that of a nervous condition as brings for the inability of making coordination BETWEEN the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, affecting the various portions of system, in the effect of the inability of proper DISTRIBUTION of energies, calling for that of the distress as brings for the inabilities of the locomotion in same.

3. In meeting, then, the needs - in giving those forces in the active force between the mental body, the spiritual body - there must be those of the proper distribution in the physical forces, that the activities in the mental and spiritual body may be made to coordinate, even as a muscular impulse is at a variance TO coordination in the present conditions.

4. We will find, then, it will be necessary that those of the vibratory forces, as we find in those of the wet cells, or wet battery, in the vibratory forces as set up in the variations between that of the silver nitrate and of gold chloride - as comes from the applications in those of the vibratory forces from same, as may act through the solar plexus - that, with the distribution of energies THROUGH the manipulation - these will carry for those of the ganglia of the system, that of a STABILIZING effect between that as exists in the system at present and that as may be builded in same by the proper distribution and proper coordination being set up.

5. These, as we find, would be attached to the 8th and 9th dorsal, and these would be used for at least thirty minutes each day, and alter - or alternate in their application, one used one day, one used the next.

6. We would also find it necessary that the MANIPULATIONS, in the beginning, be given GENTLY, each day, to make rest for the system, and to make for the drainages being set up for the proper eliminations, as well as the distribution of those energies as are builded in the system by the proper attunement in the vibratory forces of body.

7. The diets, as we will find, will be necessary to keep - those that have for their rebuilding and replenishing, that especially as assistance to the nerve energies and the proper distribution of blood supply. We will find that the pressures in the blood supply will be altered by these distributions through manipulation, and through the vibrations set up. THESE we would begin with.

8. We would also add those stimulations as will be found in clary water, as may aid in that of the activity in the assimilating forces through the lacteals and their activities in the system. Do that. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Any special diet? (A) That as we have given, that is the NERVE building, especially.
