This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of July, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - [3978].

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now we find there are many conditions that may be corrected, and the general debilitation of the system may be assisted to more near a normal state.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them in this body:

IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this below normal, and not equalized in its distribution through many portions of the body, through the improper incentive through subluxation of nerve centers in cervicals and in dorsals, and this deflection causes the inability of used forces in sensory system, especially, to be eliminated through their proper channels, causing the increased condition of that in congestion, causing a catarrhal condition in nasal cavities and in portions of the ear, and reflex to frontal muscles and portions of the face, and the deflection in the eyes cause direct condition in the optic vision. Reflex - not direct through the optic nerves, but rather through the back portion of the nerves that supply that along the lachrymal. Hence we see this over amount of secretion as is seen in the eyes at the time, the redness of the lids, the causing of this overflow in the nasal cavities, irritation along the canal that runs from the ear to the mouth, irritation along through the throat. Many conditions are involved in this, for first we had some bad teeth - this produced an infection. Then we have had an irritation in the upper portion of the lower portion of the cervical and upper portion of dorsal, this subluxation preventing the nerve centers, with the taxation, and the taxing of the system through this, brought these distresses. This same variation shows then throughout the blood supply, as it does through the organs of the system, and the nerve forces of the body. This, then, is that which may be corrected the more easily in the system.

5. The digestion must have its proper attention, that the rebuilding of blood supply, as the removal of the obstruction in portions of the system, may assist the body and rebuild through its normal channels. Then, we would add these portions to the system, that these may be corrected:

6. First there should be at least six to eight (6 to 8) adjustments, chiropractically given, for the dorsal and cervical region - properly given, see?

7. Then use the Violet Ray for the eyes, at least three (3) minutes each day, using the eye applicator.

8. Wearing at all times, save when taking the Violet Ray, the Radium Applicator, across the small of the back, see? Each afternoon, for two (2) minutes, place the pad across eyes. Have the vibrator for the eyes (Violet Ray) given just before retiring.

9. Be consistent with the diet. Be persistent with the treatments. The adjustments should be made before ANY treatments are applied for the eyes and the sensory system. The rest of the body, with these corrections, with consistency in the diet, will adjust themselves, through the renewed vibration in blood supply and in nerve energy throughout the body. Do that.

I enclose you, herewith, the reading that was gotten at the appointed time, and I am certainly in hopes you will find in same that which will prove a wonderful benefit to you, when you follow out the suggestions as are given.

The Violet Ray - that you will be able to get at most any drug store, and I’m sure you will find wonderful results from same. You should not use this, however, until you have had the proper adjustments made, by a competent chiropractor.

The Radium Applicator, or pad that you are to use, you will be able to get from the Radium Applicator Company, Bradbury Building, Los Angeles, California. This I am sure you will find helpful. I have a letter from one for whom this same applicator was suggested about a year ago. They say they do not believe they could live without it. I am sure this will do you good also.
