GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [4029], this we have had before.
-
As we find, there are changes since last we had same, but there are little or no improvements. For with the use of those measures apparently necessary for relieving the tensions, more and more are the lungs being involved; weaker and weaker grows the body from the very exhaustion of the mental, as well as the circulation, for little assimilation is going on at present.
-
For the proper stimuli is necessary. Unless there could be the arousing of sufficient energies for the body mentally to desire to resist, as we find, little may be accomplished. For there must be in the mental, as well as in the physical forces, sufficient desire for help and to make the effort toward same. We find only those may aid who may be able to arouse some stimuli for a desire, for a purposefulness. So it is passed rather from medical aid to that rather in the mental and suggestive sense. These may be aroused by those who are the closer to the body, even if it is for resentments, yet these will only prolong, unless there is the desire for physical aid.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Who would be the best person to help her in arousing the desire? (A) Anyone who is the closer to the body in the body’s real physical affection.
-
(Q) Is there anything that may be done for relief in the present? (A) Not unless there can be aroused the desire for prolongation or for health.
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/1/49 GD’s note: Mrs. [4029] must have found the desire to get better, because I just heard that she had remarried, had lived for some time in Arizona and was visiting in Calif.
R2. 9/12/60 GD’s note: I heard that Mrs. [4029] is still living and has resolved her problems to a great extent. She has spent some time in Arizona. Her son (an only child) has been very close to her all these years, though he has married and has given his mother grandchildren, which no doubt also helped her mental attitude toward life.
R3. 5/10/67 Mrs. [4029] died in her home.
R4. 10/23/75 Mrs. [4029]‘s daughter-in-law visited A.R.E. and said that she and her husband and mother-in-law had followed the growth of A.R.E. with interest. A friend came with her to be shown the collection of readings in the A.R.E. Library, including Mrs. [4029]‘s.
