Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Va.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes.

  3. As we find, conditions are somewhat improved, but the pain and the muscular tautness has not given way fully.

  4. We would have at least three to six good, thorough osteopathic adjustments; with special reference to the sacral and lumbar areas, as well as coordinating the upper dorsals and cervicals.

  5. Keep the heat and the rubs AND keep the eliminations better.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) How is it that I have not had very much response from following the suggestions of my last Rdg.? (A) Some indiscretions in overactivities and not very good in the diet.

  8. (Q) Have I caught more cold? (A) More cold.

  9. (Q) What can be done for the numbness in toes, also tautness around knees - which existed before the acute condition arose? (A) The corrections in the sacral and lumbar areas.

  10. (Q) What vegetables are especially good for my body, considering the condition of kidneys? Also fruits - which should be eaten raw and which cooked? (A) Cooked beans (and these should be green beans, or canned green beans though not preserved with any preservative such a benzoate of soda); black-eyed peas, sweet potatoes, artichoke, rutabaga, - all of these cooked. As to the raw fruits, - pears, canned or fresh; grapes and the like.

  11. (Q) Is the belladonna plaster helpful? (A) It is helpful, but not curative.

  12. (Q) What effect does Aspirin have on the kidneys? (A) Depends upon what is the disturbance with the kidneys. With this particular body, it makes more of a sedative reaction and produces an irritation or acid through same, irritating the bladder as well as the cord - or the urinary canal.

  13. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Do these, as we find, for the better conditions in the present.

Apply heat, following the massage with the equal combination of Mutton Tallow, Turpentine and Camphor; this especially across the small of back and over the kidney area. This will rest the body better. Do this even during the day, following the osteopathic relaxation with special reference to the areas indicated.

  1. We are through for the present.
