This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 11th day of April, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [404], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 4:25 to 4:35 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Virginia.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [404]; this we have had before.

3. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) What is the specific cause NOW of the severe tightness, cramping and pains in my left leg? (A) As we find, now - These applications as suggested have not all been applied in the MANNER as outlined.

Now we find there is some inflammation of the covering of the bone itself, or it might be said that there is inflammation in the skin of the bone.

We would paint the area with the combination of three parts Tincture of Laudanum to one part Aconite. Then apply salt heat, - not electric, but salt heat. But paint the flesh first with the morphia combination, over the area where the pain is.

5. (Q) Wherein have I failed to carry out all suggestions? (Q) As indicated, it was not in the intent of the body but in the MANNER of the applications. But we would keep up those for the better eliminations.

This new application may cause some rash, but it will strike to allay the pain more and aid the system to centralize healing forces in the area.

The X-Ray or the Ultra-Violet would be beneficial, but would have to be quite far from the body.

6. (Q) Have the sweats and massages been given correctly? [By Jane Witcher, Ph.T.] (A) They have been given very well, but not in just the manner indicated.

We would keep up the eliminations. The liver needs stirring more, see? These we would carry through to stir the liver to better activity; not with the minerals as much as with vegetables. As we find, the Simmon’s Liver Regulator now would be the better, whether it is in the powder or in the liquid form. But these we would keep up, so that there are at least two or three eliminations daily.

7. (Q) Did the colonic do any good (apparently it only irritated)? (A) It did good. Thus the needs for the colon to be drained so as to allow the better assimilations for the body.

8. (Q) Is the mineral oil I am taking good for me? (A) Not unless the rest of the pockets of the colon are cleansed.

9. (Q) Should I take Olive Oil, say a teaspoonful with each meal? (A) This is very well, but what is needed is to cleanse the colon and the secretions of the liver and the gall duct increased. Thus the form of vegetable forces indicated. For this is ambrosia weed, with sufficient of the licorice and cascara to aid in stimulating and in fitting it for the body - though the better way would be to eat the ragweed itself!

10. (Q) Is there a fracture anywhere? (A) As we find, not a fracture. Would be well, though, to X-ray.

11. (Q) Please give something to counteract or do away with gas in bowels? (A) Do cleanse the colon.

12. We are through for the present.
