1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: A little bit cold isn’t it? [4051]. Yes, as we find, there are those periods when from the least cold or inhalation of hot or cold air or of certain odors or the like, there will be caused the spasmodic reaction to bronchi and trachea. These have existed for some time in the body and have already begun to form adhesions.

3. As we find, if there would be a change in the environs and a more climatic atmosphere or climatic conditions as in the southwest, close to those areas as in Casa Grande, Arizona, the body would find relief. It will be necessary for the body to remain quite some time and to make the home closer to those environs. This would be prepared a little later. Of course, it isn’t going to be so long before most of the soldiers are out of this vicinity and the entity will find it a nicer place to live. We would, then, change the environs.

4. Do, between those times, take Calcidin, (which is calcium and iodine). Take one grain whenever there is a tendency to wheeze or for the spasm through the bronchi and larynx. Do not take more than three grains during any one day. Do that.

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) What about the diet? (A) Balance of sweets and fats. Leafy vegetables should be eaten oft and all forms of foods that carry silicon, and also those adding vitamins B and B complex. We would supplement the diet for at least a week or ten days, even if changes are made for the body, with the One-A-Day vitamin complex. Do that.

7. (Q) Is climate a factor in my case? (A) As has been indicated, the body will be cured if remaining in a change of climate.

B1. 1/15/44 Sister’s letter: ”…I had a letter from my sister today, enclosing her application and in which she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to have a reading by you. She feels it is ‘the thing I have been waiting for.’”

B2. 3/44 [4051]‘s letter: “I have had asthma since Aug. 1926. I lived in D.C. for the past 8 yrs. having moved back to my present address last June. My asthma became a lot worse while in D.C. I have noted a slight improvement since coming back to the mountains. I would like to be able to get some help in treating my asthma so I could live in N.J. where my husband is now employed. I also would like to regain my health so that I can make a better wife and mother and bring my children up to be God loving citizens. I have four children to care for and I could lead a more useful life if I could find a way to help my asthma. I know with our dear Lord all things are possible and I pray that he considers me worthy of help. Where shall I go for treatment? Can I be cured?”
