This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of April, 1944, in accordance with request made by the husband - [a D.O.], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading Pennsylvania Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Hotel, Rm. 1537, Taken 3:40 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern War Time. New York, N.Y.

  1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Pennsylvania Hotel - the right wing - yes, we have the body here, [4054].

  3. As we find, there are those tendencies and inclinations produced by incoordination between the central and the lymphatic circulation. This incoordination produces tendencies for the inability of controlling reflexes in the body; creating an unbalanced chemical reaction in the body-chemistry of the digestive system.

  4. In making applications for helpful forces we would add oils for stimulation of the lymph circulation, using this combination:

Olive Oil…2 ounces, Peanut Oil…2 ounces, Lanolin (melted)…1/4 ounce.

When the massages are given, especially after a warm bath, massage the areas particularly in the secondary cardiac plexus or the brachial plexus and the 9th dorsal and lumbar axis. Stimulate these areas with the oil massages from the system; thus preventing those reactions to the tendons and muscular forces of the extremities and this activity in the body-forces.

  1. Also we would use the short wave electrical treatments to stimulate the eliminating circulations to carry the drosses of the body to the proper centers for eliminations.

  2. The electrical treatments should be given at least once a week, while the massages should be given every other day - but there should be the opening of the pores with the hot water applications, or the bath, each time before the massage is given.

  3. These massages may be done by a masseur or an osteopath. Such treatments should be of a relaxing nature, not stimulating in corrections; supplying to those centers particularly where there is the closer association with sympathetic nervous system and the cerebrospinal system. For with these incoordinations the organs of the central nervous system - lungs, heart, liver, kidneys - vary in their activity; and the establishing of the better association or connection with the sympathetic system will relieve these tensions.

  4. These we would do and we will bring better conditions for the body.

  5. Ready for questions.

  6. We are through with this Reading.
