GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering questions, as I ask them:

EC: Yes - here we find very acute and sometimes very severe reactions. For the toxic forces of the system produce a form of neuritis that becomes inflammatory in its nature. Thus the conditions become very severe in the tendons and muscular forces of the locomotories and especially as manifested in the lower extremities and the activities through the body.

While these first applications may cause acute conditions that may become very severe, even necessitating sedatives, these we would do to prepare the body for the better conditions that may be brought.

Begin first with taking internally one drop of Atomidine each morning before breakfast for five days in succession. Then leave off three days.

Then take two drops each morning for five days, leave off three days.

Take then five drops each morning for three days.

Then (not before) have an Epsom Salts Bath, using about twenty pounds of Epsom Salts to fifty gallons of water as hot as the body can well stand. While in this Bath, give the body a massage, being mindful that the body is cared for in such a manner that this does not produce contraction or fear.

Immediately when coming from the Bath, give the body a thorough massage with this combination of oils:
Olive Oil…2 ounces, Peanut Oil…2 ounces, Lanolin (melted)…1/4 ounce.
Massage this into the hips, the lumbar axis and the brachial center, the arms and the lower limbs, the hands and feet, so that there may be the better stimulation.

Rest from all the applications for five to seven days. Then begin all over again; except this time begin with three drops of Atomidine each morning and at the end of the first series give five drops each morning for three days. Then have the second Epsom Salts Bath.

After the second rest period, begin with osteopathic adjustments and also the short wave electrical treatments.

After one series of the osteopathic and short wave treatments, have another series of Atomidine, three drops each day for five days, and then the third Epsom Salts Bath.

Thus we should find real results for this body.

If there is the heavy disturbance, do have high colonic irrigations to cleanse the colon. Purifying the alimentary canal will also relieve these tensions.

In the diet do increase the quantities of raw fresh foods that are taken.

(Q) What should be done for prolapsus in uterus? (A) The treatments osteopathically would be helpful, but there may be required the antiseptic packing by a gynecologist for the correction of the position of the uterus and the organs.

(Q) Partial deafness? (A) This will be a part of those conditions that will be corrected as the massages and stimulations are given to increase the circulation between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems.

Can you tell me where to purchase the Peanut Oil recommended as part of massage treatment? I have tried all drugs and several grocers in our nearby towns and have not been able to procure it. As there are no osteopaths in less than eight miles, and gasoline usage being out of the question; I am at a standstill.
