GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes - while the conditions disturbing the body are not particularly serious in the present, we find that unless there are some measures taken these will gradually grow on the body; even the conditions that are least indicated from outside appearances - as the sexual activities that are very disturbing to the body - because of the characters of the emotions that are set up with those of its own sex.
-
Unless these are removed, the disturbance in the kidneys and bladder will increase, and the disorder in the areas where there are the activities through both the mastoids and the prostates will be found to become inflamed and there will be a setting up of those conditions that are not easily met. For they will be of the nature that will separate or segregate themselves.
-
Thus as we find, there should be first the suggestive therapeutics, or the having of a good psychiatrist or hypnotist to give positive suggestions to the body in regard to refraining from such activities.
-
When these are removed, or to aid, give a low form of electricity. This may be given in the form of the violet ray (hand machine, bulb applicator). While these vibrations are high, they may be given rather low and be of a strengthening nature. Make the applications over the areas of the back of the neck, across the shoulders, across the diaphragm but from the back area, and across the lumbar and sacral areas. These electrical treatments should be given about once each week, but do not begin these until there are those changes in the mental attitudes - from the suggestions that may be made through hypnotic influences.
-
Do that.
-
These inflammations may be activative by the low cellular forces of electricity, but had better be through suggestion. Find an honest hypnotist - there are some.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What brought about the skin condition? (A) Poor eliminations and the lack of coordination in eliminations. The activities of the kidneys and the incoordination of liver, and thus through the perspiratory and respiratory system there is the bad breath also, there are the poisons eliminated that should be eliminated through the alimentary canal. Thus the rash.
-
(Q) What should be done for this? (A) Do those things indicated and we will relieve these disturbances for this body.
-
We are through with this reading. [See GD’s note below.]

Background
Background
B1. 10/5/43 [4073]‘s letter: ”…My condition is both physical and psychological and I shall sketch it as briefly as possible. I was born an ugly duckling, a fact emphasized by family and school associates as long as I can remember. The foundation of certain unshakable inhibitions. When about twelve years old, a urinary weakness developed; the inability of the urinary function to completely operate. After each passage of urine, an unnatural amount of water would remain in the urinary tract which no amount of voluntary or involuntary muscular action could expel. This had to be drained out by running the finger along the urinary canal and resorting to vigorous shaking. Several doctors treated me for stricture and other causes without success.
“The condition has persisted and I am now forty years old. This has been another cause of maladjustment. Lacking opportunity, because of appearance and temperament, for normal relations with girls as a youngster and youth, I turned within myself and definite homosexual tendencies developed. Certain contacts, then and now, have inclined to emphasize these tendencies. Needless to say, I am in a perpetually unhappy state. Because of the above factors, the suicide complex developed when I was very young. My artistic aspirations were thwarted by unsympathetic parents (I wanted to be a pianist) and, after much indecision, I became a school teacher and taught for ten years. But I failed at this and was discharged for my bluntness and bitter tongue. Everything I have done or tried to do has piled up about my ears. I seem to be cursed by all the misfortune which can be heaped upon a single individual. At the moment, I am working in a shipyard here at …, but after this ‘plays’ out - what next? I hardly care because I still have the very definite feeling that suicide is going to be the way out for me. I have recently been ‘cured’ of syphilis, have had two doses of clap, have a bad case of bronchitis and am at present treating a skin disease which has completely baffled several doctors. ‘OH, Death! Where is thy sting?’ Can you help me physically or mentally…? If I could only shed the mental and physical past, I feel strongly that there is a definite contribution which I can make toward the progress of mankind… Can you help me?…”
B2. 11/8/43 [4073]‘s letter:
”…My problems are (1) urinary, (2) bronchial, and (3) skin. If you will refer to my previous letter, you will find a fuller explanation. Drs. Pringle and London know about my case and will make any necessary verifications. Like everyone else, I should like to have my reading as soon as possible…”
B3. 3/13/44 [4073]‘s Questions submitted besides those at end of 4073-1:
”…How did the condition develop at so early an age? Did any of the treatment I took have any effect? How did the skin disease develop? Why did the X-ray fail to cure the ankle? Why should the doctor have given up? What is the cure for the impetigo which has recently developed? The bronchial trouble? Can the heavy sluff be eliminated? Can I get rid of the cough? Why is there no cure in medical knowledge? Is there a possibility of being cured of the homosexual tendencies? What is the condition of the lungs? How to keep my hair from falling out and to make grow again? What is the general condition otherwise, teeth, etc?…”
