GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [4080].
-
As we find, there has been an injury to the body at the lower end of the rib area, the floating rib on the right side. This has tended to make lesions or adhesions in the area of the larger lacteal duct. From these we have had and do have nerve exhausting spasms of the lymph circulation. These cause the exhausting waves and the tendency for the body feeling as if it is losing its equilibrium or balance.
-
These, as we find, are the sources, the causes of the greater disturbance. With the correction of these, we would find that the other disturbances, that are sympathetic to the conditions in the activity of the organs of the central nervous and blood supply or the lungs, heart, liver and kidneys, will be materially aided. Thus we should find greater balance and better health for the body.
-
To accomplish this we would begin using hot Castor Oil Packs for at least an hour each day for five days in succession, preferably as the body is ready to retire. Apply these over the whole right side, from the rib area to the groin, extending over the area of the abdomen and the larger lacteal duct.
-
After each Pack, sponge off the area with a weak soda water. Then have a massage, preferably by a good neuropath, using this combination of oils:
Olive Oil…2 ounces, Peanut Oil…2 ounces, Lanolin (melted)…1/4 ounce.
Massage these oils over the same area, as well as along the spine from which the activities of the lower portion of the digestive system receive their impulse - that is, the beginning of the intestinal digestion, through the areas of the lacteal ducts and the principal portion of the jejunum.
-
After the five days, take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.
-
Leave off these applications, then, for five days. Then have another series, repeating the massage, the Olive Oil internally.
-
We would have at least three to four complete series of these treatments. Follow each oil pack with the thorough massage using the oils indicated.
-
During the rest periods between the series of oil packs, we would have the neuropath give the treatment about every other day.
-
In the diet, keep away from bulky food - except such as cereals, or citrus fruit juices, though these would not be taken at the same meal. Have plenty of green vegetables, not a great deal of fats, not too much sweets but sufficient to keep a balance with the starches taken. Little or no white bread should be taken.
-
Doing these we should relieve these conditions and make for better equilibrium.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What changes if any should I make in my general living practices to aid in accomplishing this? (A) Those changes indicated in the diet more than in other directions.
-
(Q) Any other advice? (A) Do these things for the body if we would bring better conditions.
-
We are through with this reading.
